I haven't used Linux for a long time already...I used Version 9, like 5 years ago...

guess you're referring to the redhat distro, which eventually became the fedora project after version 9, latest of which is Fedora 8.

The latest stable version of the Linux kernel (appplies to all distro) is: 2.6.23.9 (Nov 26'07)

Watched "The Wedding Singer" (again) yesterday, and was caught up humming to the song as it was played by a string quartet on the wedding scene where the groom was stood up. Heartbreaker. It's an old time favorite, I'm a Journey fan actually.

"Don't Stop Believing" is a song by the American rock band Journey originally written about Steve Perry's high school flame, Stephanie Diperna. The song debuted on their 1981 album Escape. It is today considered the band's signature song. The song is well-known for its lyrics and its distinctive detuned piano introduction, described by All Music Guide as "one of the best opening keyboard riffs in rock." me too, i use the terminal to practice bash and so i won't forget the important commands

nothing against gui can't run azureus w/o X

i don't think any linux user can turn his back from the shell =)

i guess i have to open my doors to ubuntu once again. never liked it, perhaps a second look won't cause me harm :-)

i'll stick to slackware for now, and perhaps with fedora too. the gui for ubunto looks attractive, sadly, i like more free hand than the gui.
