The hotel itself is not bad (a 3-4 star hotel if I'm not mistaken) the rooms we got are not really that big but good enough for a decent nights sleep (we were out most of the time). Cable television is quite limited as far as number of available channels are concerned. There is a cable where you can connect to the internet but since I did not bring my laptop I did not make use of it. (dont know if you will be charged for it) ...... the bathroom is a little small for me and they don't dont even have soap holders.

 

Whats nice about the hotel is its proximity to some decent eateries, malls and shops (one of which is the Funan Mall for the techies) and its only a block away to access the underground MRT.

 

Cant remember the price per night (I actually dont know since it was my mom that was in charge of booking the hotel with the travel agent)

Paan ka naman kasing gaganahan sa ganitong coach. Hindi tawa yan ng mga players. Ngiting aso para sa coach nila. its just like thinking..."lintik na coach ito, laro ka ng larong matino tapos walang tino ang coach sa pagpasok ng players. Bigyan mo ng magaling na coach ang Ginebra, mawawala ang ngiting aso ng mga players.

i definitely agree on this. it's not that the players do not have the will to win. as we ginebra fans can see, the players have been trying and playing their butts out every game...it's just that they believe that their coach does not know what he's doing. take this for instance...kings trade for a marquee player but come game time, he gets to ride the bench or gets limited time (case of baguio and miller).

sayang talaga si skyrus. all he needed with ginebra was the playing time he would've deserved. unfortunately coach jong (paging mr. cojuangco...marami nang nakikiusap na palitan ito) never saw the talent in baguio...or he never liked baguio to begin with.

ginebra's loss is alaska's gain. baguio has certainly found a new home in alaska.

The Lakers have the Spurs' and Jazz's number. But if the seedings hold until the playoffs, the Blazers are a dangerous match-up for LA since they have the size, athleticism and the bench to match-up with LA. The Blazer bench could really give the Lakers problems. I won't rule out an upset.

you're right chief...but then as you correctly stated, it's the playoffs and upsets are not unlikely. remember the warriors a few years ago? all teams in the west are tough...even the thunder is a dangerous team. durant and company just amazes me. they just recently won against dallas.

yap universal studios singapore opened last march 18. entrance to the park is S$66 for adults and about S$40 for kids. hotel within the area is hardrock hotel though this is way too pricey at S$300/night compared to hotels within the city.

Definitely a nice start to the Storey. I hope Ginbera will have a Storeybook ending this conference. :thumbsupsmiley:

i guess all kings fans are looking for that ending chief. like i've written before, it's been awhile. now let's see what the h-bomb will give us when he makes his anticipated comeback.

good win...nice start. certainly a passing grade for storey in his 1st game. not really an explosive player that we ka-barangays wished for but a hard working and scrappy import. let's see how he fares with the rest of the imports.
