  1. Hahaha, I don't mind at all. I do consider it mushy in public anyway and I'll scoff at the girls in the apartment whenever they flash their books. Although once they leave the house and leave me all by my lonesome, their mushy books are fair game for my appetite. :)

    that is so cute!

lately na aaliw ako sa mga so called "girl books" those books w/ nice flashy covers that tell stories of struggling women ... mga tipong the devil wears prada or nanny diaries...

i call em fluff novels but i read em anyway! :)

  2. mushy romance novels?... i used to read jackie collins' book...yung mga 'the bitch'... etc... they were just lying around the house e... then i got to read the sensual err mushy stuffs and i got hooked... hahaha

wats up with dan brown?... lahat yata ng nagppost dito is a fan of him... is he that good?... havent read one of his novels pa kc e... :)

the jackie collins genre is ok.. ayaw ko yun mga historical stuff na iisa ang story line ...

    tapos puro mushy stuff....

dan brown has written 4 books - deception point, digital fortress, angels & demons and da vinci code.

he has gained fame bec of the seeming "controversy" around the theses of his DVC novel... but he is a generally good author.

i like digital fortress and angels & demons best among his books.

    a good entertaining read. :)

  3. hey, thanks a lot for the tip ha! ive been looking all over kung san lumipat tong new bombay canteen, malapit lang pala. i live near them kc nung nasa buendia pa sila...try ko nga minsan, i just hope the quality of their food havent changed

i'll try search rada st. for that indian resto you're talking about...

pansin ko lang, i always see the same people posting about great food places...would it be great if we go for a foodtrip EB sometime soon? pagbalik mo sana ng 'pinas, ano?

    yw ladydredd...

the rada indian resto... if youre at that end of rada where the church is... its probly 4 or 5 buildings down the street, on the left side...

its at the ground floor and the last time i ate there ... pink ang tablecloth nila (what a trivial memory of the place no?)

a food eb would be great !!! :)

  4. They are! And for most parts, the food smells like armpit. That's because of the amount of onions and spices that they put in there. Some of my Indian friends think that Filipinos smell like pork. Some of my Japanese friends think Filipinos like garlic.

Pero masarap talaga ang Indian food. Mahilig kasi ako sa maanghang eh ;)

Food is an acquired taste and smell i think.

When we begin to eat something, our first encounter with it is its smell... even before it reaches our table, when we enter a resto, we smell cooking... and its either aversive or positive to our noses...

Indian cooking has both strong flavors and smells. For people used to "blander" cooking its too much...

Personally i found it rather strong at first but when you start eating it... it tastes really really good - the flavors and textures complement each other ... for instance eating a spicy curry and pairing it with cool yoghurt... almost an explosion of hot and cold sensations in your mouth.

Once you get past the strong smells... indian cooking is really quite healthy and quite flavorful.

    :)

  5. best burgers in town are in aristocrat, grabe juicy and super tasty, bihira lang kasi nakakatikim dahil they are more known for their bbq

so thats why my kuya and nephew always order their cheeseburger.

i never did cause i always order their chicken bbq.

hmm il add that to my list of must-trys ...

    thanks ;)
