  1. Well the swiss courts that held his hidden wealth proved that it was ill gotten, didnt they? And the Marcoses have already admitted to it by saying theyre willing to return the borrowed money in return for immunity from suits. Even Duterte has insinuated on this fact.

Oh, and if you havent heard. Hell already froze over. So theres that. (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2535709/Its-cold-HELL-frozen-Michigan-town-falls-victim-record-cold-temperatures.html)

please do show some evidence. the problem kasi is that opinions lang. or what we have come to know. maganda pag may hard core proof. if they admitted then why not charge them in court. get back those huge amounts? the point is our opinions vary. why not lahat tayo maging open minded, find evidences and see for ourselves what is real. statements always contradict themselves. if I stole a huge amount of money, gold bars and all, you think I would stay here? you think i'd join politics anymore? you think i'd talk in public or in media? id rather be in paradise. buy an island in the Bahamas and live life like a king. now that's the life. so, better we find evidences po. if you can find credible links sa internet. we can research and dig into whats real or whats bogus. since there are no real investigating body sa pinas. we as citizens can at least make an effort than quarreling like crabs in a bucket. hehehe

  2. we don't have either.

if we sit down and do nothing, well, anything pre determined will never happen. one suicide then is gone.

freewill as well. we have options but not everything is on the table. freewill means you can do what you want. try banging the car infront of you. try taking a bread from the bakeshop. try to step out of the office during working hours.

resign and be free! correct, but that wont go far after you run out of cash.

    so neither...

we live our lives with the options that open, that are available, that is possible for us. we cannot be all like bill gates or everyone becomes neil Armstrong or Michael Jordan. we live as what lines are possible to walk on...

our lives will be what we do today that hopefully transcends into the future.

  3. nasa tagaytay na din naman.... dapat sulit!

i'd recommend escala hotel. 5k 22 hours na yun. ganda ng view. dapat yun chix nyo dapat sulit din and for keeps :) check it out guys

    escala hotel

  4. my opinion on the matter;

Philippine politics is always controlled by the elite. the problem is politicians can be bought and already has been bought. other politicians exploit the government coffers thru their pork barrels and annual budgets. after the money business, we as a people now hopes for a job well done, instead they sell their services to the elites to further better laws for the rich. lucio tan, Robert ong pin etc. the problem lies to the greed vs real public service mentality, politicians just want to stay in power (money business) they try to show a good job but is now impossible due to the fact that any move that contradicts the elite, means they lose their position in the next election. the only person who don't give s@%t is mr duterte. he really does not care.

another misfortune is that we as a people do not respect or honor the law. we try to bend it to avoid punishment. a defiant rappler. its a picture of us all. pag nahuli sa kalsada same. pag nahuli ng police, same. nahuli ng mmda same. wala na sumusunod sa batas. everyone seems to be a victim even though they are not. everyone plays dumb and cries and ask media to help and resolve their problems. in return the media benefits from doing "public service" they are bending and maligning the law. now, the police is really really weak. corrupt and sinful. police characters. well, we can go on forever.

funny thing about Filipinos, pag nasa pilipinas, titigas ng ulo. pero pag nasa ibang bansa, sumusunod naman sa batas. kahit gaano pa ka strict. no smoking, no littering. 100% sumusunod.

I think the main reason we are not progressing is that, wala tayo lahat respeto sa batas. walang sumusunod. walang nagpapatupad. walang benevolent body na nag se set ng tama. at didisiplina sa mali.

quite depressing. the more na titigas ang ulo ng pinoy, well... wala tayo progreso bilang isang bansa...

  5. wow.

james cutter and juan t. rather slewing mud, better to dig out evidences and truths. hey! anyone have time? the marcos residence should be the best place to find documents. they have a separate chamber for all the documents that they keep. I have no idea if the pcgg will show any documents that they have to the public. any lawyers here? consult please.

and also, there is a swiss bank account owned by marcos, does anybody know the account number? as well as why the money/ gold cant be withdrawn?

    any lawyers in this thread?

  6.

    no. I don't agree.

gold can be traded yes. but that does not mean you cannot own physical gold. or gold mines in that regard. anyone who has the cash can buy one of course. its not that expensive to buy an existing mine especially when its near bankruptcy. there are documents. but they are held back. here are some that I am trying to dig in to.

    http://kahudes.net/

in terms of authenticity, well, try to find out more information. fake or not, its for you to look into and judge for yourself. I am not a marcos fanatic nor an Aquino hater. I like them both. but in terms of things done. I guess mr marcos has still done more. a lot more. again its my own opinion.

    one more point of view.

    gold are mined.

tax is MONEY collected from people like you and I. everyone pays them either at BIR or government offices or any store you are paying right now. nobody pays in gold.

for a country to acquire GOLD, that means its either mined or been bought abroad. the government did not control any mines. instead just tax private mining companies.

be objective on your comments. have an open mind. when you are right that does not mean I am wrong. better find out. being close minded means nothing else matters but your own opinion. respect oter peoples opinions. if you think its wrong, flag it down with facts and objectivity.

I am not disputing the fact that Marcos had gold. What I am disputing is how he acquired it. All credible information point to stolen wealth. No credible information even mentions that he was a trader, or that he had a mining company, or that he was a lawyer for some rich Taliano clan. All that is fake crap you read from the internet. Believe me I have an open mind and I actually wasted time trying to verify it - wala talaga eh. You yourself admit that you're not sure of its authenticity and that you will try to do more research, yet you treat this information as fact.

continue digging. if I have the time, i'd like to see those documents held by Imelda in ilocos. i'd like to see what documents did she use to get an acquittal in their trial of the century. it is not easy getting an acquittal for over a hundred cases. how come she got out. really interesting stuff. Gold or no gold, i'd like to know how and see the documents.

As far as why Imelda was acquitted in the trial of the century, let me help you out. Jurors in the case weren't convinced that she was knowledgeable about her husbands crimes and therefore she was absolved. They acknowledged the crimes of Ferdidnand, but they couldnt prove that Imelda was an accessory.

    peace

the tallano clan is crap. I do get information from the net. where do you get yours? I guess practically the same thing.

    http://www.nytimes.com/1990/07/03/nyregion/marcos-verdict-marcos-cleared-all-charges-racketeering-fraud-case.html?pagewanted=all

now, a better question would be this. if marcos had gold, where to find documents of that gold. well either find it thru google. or just go to ilocos to find out. isn't it? that's more interesting than answering comments here.

  7.

Please, wag na tayo mag lokohan dito. Do you even know the mechanics of trading gold or other precious metals? Normally, it is traded in an exchange like the stock market- all electronic transactions. But the way you describe it, parang alahero si Marcos na nag bebenta ng alahas. By the way, what was the name of his business again? Oh you dont know, thats funny, a multi-billion dollar business being run like a mom-and-pop operation with no trade name and no office, and no documentation whatsoever other than unverified stories from the internet.

And your only basis is the story of your friend saying that her father regularly flew gold for FEM to Switzerland.

And you didn't even bother to question where the gold came from!

  8. anything that's positive and common between us. humor maybe the first. usually I introduce myself, who I am and what is my background, what are my hobbies and interests. politely I would ask the same for her and see which topics and interests are common. have the time, we can either discuss them all or continue on another day, but I do would love to explore about each other during long road trips. say a trip to bora or Palawan or siargao. or somewhere near like tagaytay, batangas or baguio, la union. its nice to know the person you intend to become the girlfriend :)

  9. my 3 cent opinion

its good that everyone has the right to free education. and since its already free, there shouldn't be any reason why not to up the standard. we should not be just an employee minded society, our young people should be educated not only to be become employees but also researchers and business owners and leaders. free education means correct and useful education. not just memorize. no just earning a diploma. it should constitute a higher consciousness such as being of service to the people rather than just to earn money, higher salary and bonuses. those educated by the state should give back to the society, maybe 1 hour free service in a week. or something to give back to those who supported your education. (each and every Filipino taxpayer) so I think free is good, but it should not be self centered (i.e. I graduate earn lots of dough and its my turn to close the door behind me so no one can follow attitude)

for those dumb idiot students that just wants to go to school and just fair it all day, looking for babes, looking for gimik, inom and bars, and shitty things, they should not be in school. they should be the ones begging in the streets. that's also a good point why the standard should be raised. to segregate the idiots from the hard working individuals that strive hard.

for those students that try hard and fail... you need to up your game. try something that is suitable for you... do not fool yourself. (education is free, I want to become a lawyer.) good! but do understand that its not just complete attendance and good looks that will bring you to the finish line. you need to know what is your own capacity to learn, what are you good at and what can you do best. do not force all things. you may not be good at climbing trees but swim fast like a fish. find your forte.

for everyone else, free education is good. it also ensures that our children in the future will get educated. provided they want and eager to learn. I do support and cherish it.

  10. about edsa.

edsa is not growing. its still the same old 4 lane per way highway of old. it also has no more room to grow. but the population of cars on edsa did multiply. the only realistic solution to edsa is to decongest.

some people should not use edsa. eto na, hehehe the government asked provincial buses, had a lot of opposition, the government asked jeepneys, had opposition, the government asked motorcycles, had opposition. now nobody wants to withdraw from using edsa. my view is simple, let those who can pay use edsa. put rfid's every 3 km in edsa and see who can pay the toll fees. so the most affected will be those who use edsa daily. not other people who are not involved. tax as per use. I'm sure, there will be opposition, but if no one wants to give space in edsa, its just a big parking lot that everyone complains and rants.

say 50 pesos every 3 km.

maybe end to end ng edsa 30 km? 1500 pesos. ganun lang. kahit sino ka pa, basta bayaran u lang ang pag gamit sa edsa. others can take an alternate route of course.

next, the revenue earned from the toll taken in edsa should be used to create a skyway highway parallel to edsa for the private vehicles. to segregate the public and private vehicles. of course put tolls as well.

para shared na ang payments from private and public. revenues earned should be used to maintain and save more money for the subway system in manila. para kumonti ang mga buses. let subway trains be the norm in the metro.

as a volume of cars are pushed to other routes, now other routes are also congested, I do think its time to control the volume of cars being sold in the metro and the volume of cars that needs to be discarded, maybe more than 10 years should be phased out and sell to other countries or recycled. or discarded. higher taxes should control it.

its not a one week solution it would take years and administrations to fulfill. but that's a concrete way of doing it.

    my 3 cent opinion only.

  11. pretext.

I know he's a good person and ruthless to non law abiding idiots. I know he's a good public servant, Davao can tell it all. in our society its easy to rant and f#&k a public servant, tsismaks and all. pero none in Davao. people there genuinely love him. his mouth is smoking hot. spicy and all. he doesn't give a f#&k about your opinion. he leads. period. whether you like it or not.

    expectations.

I do expect our dear president to enforce the law strictly. I think that's what is missing. a law abiding society (rich or poor)

I expect discipline in all facet of government. I know you're firing a lot of people. I know that. can you please put principled people in those positions and not them ass kissers.

I expect better action from the government, so services can reach down to the helpless. especially the police and dswd.

I expect corrupt government people to be disciplined and be kicked out of office and jailed.

I expect drugs to die. pushers to users should go to jail. rot in jail or die in jail.

I expect that during your term, you will finish what you promised, what you started, what you are supposed to do.

I expect that during your term, you will endure the stupid people around you.

I expect that even the darkest of days, you will do what is necessary to keep this country rolling. to do what is right and just.

I expect that you will make all of us proud.

  12. I wont forget my board exam. a year of reviews, a year of problem solving, a year of memorizing, a year of non stop reading, solving, writing formulas, derive formulas, understanding logic, slack tests, 100 problems daily. my only reprieve was around 3am, a coffee break, driving around the subdivision, fresh air, then continue until 7am. then sleep for 4 hours. continue again at 1pm until 7pm. dinner and sleep until 12am. then continue. again and again for a year. until books and books are stuffed between my ears. after passing the exam, I was so free... I was like out of the academe industry line and out of the academic maze... I made it at 22. but then again, I did welcome myself to the world of the unemployed :)

i'll never forget that place in UE. my first and only time that went in that school. I was late as well, since hindi ko alam pasikot sikot sa ue manila! I did not eat lunch. I feel kulang ang oras! I feel, I need to check, recheck and do it one more time to ensure that my answers have been verified enough. well, the more I look, the more answers that came out hehehe. so I did have my doubts. i'll never forget that after nun nanood pa ako ng sine, I think it was troy. if my memory is correct.

I did ate at mcdonalds after. and I kept wondering for days if I passed or failed. ibang tao pa nagsabi sakin na pumasa ako :) hehehe

I guess its all part of history now :)

  13. fact 1 - Ferdinand marcos topped the bar exams twice. -that means he's that smart.

fact 2- there were a lot of human rights abuses during his time, during martial law. -due to the high standards during that time, where law and order is paramount. where one murder is magnified and makes a country in outrage, things went south. martial law and mass arrests and abuses were done to quell the anti government people. (its not really new. happens also today. just that nobody gives a s@%t nowadays) when someone dies, its just part of daily news nowadays... and I think no one can control it. being strict is part of governance, but not everyone understands or appreciates it. ask singaporeans about it, they will appreciate and understand. that's the reason why their country is secured and peaceful due to strict laws and enforcement. while in our country, lopsided rules, lousy police, stupid magistrates makes the law inferior and weak. making people escape a lot of crimes, petty or grave. sayAng lang. we need a strongman. someone who will enforce the law. 100% that's the way, that's the standard this country should hold.

fact 3 - riches- this one is subjective. someone get a hold on the marcos documents. even before the presidency, the marcos clan is rich, during ferdinands time, he got rich via investments in gold mines. again its subjective. not unless we have documents here. his riches are not in peso nor from the government for it is gold bars in this house in ilocos and gold bars deposited in UBS. his gold is more than the treasury. that's what allegedly was shown during the trial in the US. a bank document stating mr marcos total balance before the presidency. its in gold bullions. actually just the interest of those gold is enough to fund the governments yearly budget. just the interest alone. no need to get even one percent. just the interest... the government should aim to get those interests. by God its annual interests.

fact 4 - assassination - there was a book published by the vice president doy laurel regarding mr marcos dying words to him, a partisan opposition, he did not admit to the assassination. he said he was willing to give 90% of his possessions, but was denied by the president cory aquino. quite shady...

    http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-1036706

an article from the manila standard written by the vice president Salvador laurel.

    http://manilastandard.net/opinion/columns/back-channel-by-alejandro-del-rosario/140961/doy-laurel-s-letter-to-cory-aquino.html

for arguments sake, I think the marcoses are too rich to delve in politics. the intentions and motives are not there to begin with. they contributed a lot. fortitude and strength in governance. in return now they are the worst people in our country. I cant see the reason why they should suffer. for human rights abuses, provided. cronies? they should be tried one by one. they have their own motives. the strongman did try to merge the nation. honestly.

now decades after. as we look back. we did not progress as much... dirty politics. mass protests. dirty streets. unemployment etc. our people still are suffering. there was really no progress, regress is more of a better term. we are now lawless.

in my 5 cent opinion, the democracy that we enjoy today is paid dearly by everyone for the few. who benefited from this democracy? we are free... to throw garbage everywhere. we are free... to s@%t everywhere. we are never free... for there are laws. but we became free to s@%t on those laws. we have become a lawless society. nobody is in control now... our dear mr duterte is trying hard, to a strong opposition is draining him dry.

in my humble opinion. my own view, my own reservations, I do think Ferdinand marcos is still far better than cory Aquino or any president that came after him. its all about money after the marcoses. each and every president after him. the stench can be seen, smelled, tasted everywhere.

the Filipino people deserves better. I do not believe that the Filipino is poor. its the improper governance of the wealth of this nation. its distribution and how it is being used. (ever saw the same road being destroyed and rebuilt over and over, year after year?) where there should be a warranty period for that thing right? its designed for 50 years, and should last a minimum of 25. then why does the government ask the contractor to rectify? because of kickbacks. its not even a secret. but no action. this is our democracy. everybody is free. to k*ll, to steal and to plunder. this democracy is very expensive to all of us. that's why during the marcos era, they fear only one man. now everyone can be bribed. what a democracy... for me, democracy has been tainted. we are not in a real democratic country. its a country controlled by money taken from you and me and being used against you and me.

really sad. the late dictator was right. we have fallen deep deep down. mas mayaman na ang korea, israel, Vietnam and Singapore sa atin, samantala noon, tayo ang tumutulong sa kanila. sayAng tayo. sayAng ang Pilipino.

  14. take a poop

    wear some decent clothes.

either do something productive at home or go work. or go to the mall

    boring...

  15. my 5 cent opinion

I think by principle, communism is good in terms of a vast population of non achievers. everybody is an employee. so whether you're a manager or a laborer your salary is the same. that's good. but does not promote growth. furthermore the government takes a more oppressing role. to silence uprisings and change in the system. since all the money is funneled to the government. everyone is a slave, except the government. so by fueling it with greed and corruption. the government is the breeding ground for decay.

particularly in the Philippines. the cpp should be eradicated. but people who need money makes a business out of it. by way of rallies, getting support from lazy people. (500 pesos join a rally) free food and all.

lazy people who would like free houses, free food, free everything. these are the kinds of people that supports communists in the hope of free everything. what they don't know is that everything is free for payment of free will. you will never be hungry but in turn will never be rich. will never have a voice and will never be able to run. you are a guinea pig for life. so as your kids and everyone.

activists think they are doing good, instead they are just following a false ideology. what? lower jeepney fares? nobody thinks for the jeepney driver? jeepney dirver wants lower fuel prices? who will pay the oil? as a nation, we need to pay as a country. (a lot of people are still unproductive "tagay!" street dwellers etc.) vast lands, a lot of workers. no revenue. why? idiotic policies. false ideologies.

just imagine our taxes being funneled to the npa, businesses asking for taxes. the npa are like leeches. they fight for nothing. actually they just want to keep their salaries, guns and power. well if cant have a position in the government, join the other side. there no queues, no tax, no nothing. just join you get some degree of power, some clout, some cash some guns and new friends. ka Freddie! hahaha.

the government should destroy the core of cpp npa. they are not fighting for anything. just want money and talk s@%t in the society. if they are really fighting for something, they should stand up to it and not make a business out of it. show that its worth dying for, not running to the hills and try to slug it out in the jungle. bunch of cowards and losers.

the cpp cannot make this nation great. they are dead weight. demoracy is still the best.. but coupled with greedy and lazy people, democracy also rots to the core... we need to change as a country as a nation, which is easier said than done. just the traffic problem, nobody wants to give way. provincial busses don't want to give way. city busses don't want to give way. private vehicles don't want to give way. motorcycles don't want to give way. same in government. same in our people. we as individuals need to change. those who do not want to change should leave the country. why stay if you don't want to follow the law. get the f#&k out. same with cpp npa. get the f#&k out the Philippines.
