  1. Now this is a guy to watch for. Csaba has the classic physique lines of Zane or Paris. Certainly balanced proportions and symmetry unlike the freak shows and bubble guts in pro bodybuilding today. Hope he will not be tempted to follow into the footsteps of the freak shows in Olympia:

And yes, a body to die for like Zane's. Would probably take years to get that physique (he said he worked for that body for 14 years, starting at age 16. He is now 30).

  2. Volleyball is most interesting when it's women's volleyball. That's when I really watch. Don't care much about men's volleyball. Women's volleyball is more interesting, along with those short, very tight shorts that they have.

  3. Just heard this on the news, effective na daw ang smoking ban.

lol This smoking ban will go up in smoke in less than a month. This regime is just pitiful. I am not a smoker, but we already have anti-smoking laws in place. This is just plain redundant and shows how useless this "President" is turning out to be. Sorry for that rant, but then every time I read about the smoking ban I just go WTH even if I am not a smoker...

  4. My home gym.

First, my barbell, adjustable bench and plates:

Next, my dumbbells and more plates (25 lbs., 20 lbs., 16 lbs. plus adjustable dumbbells):

And my lat machine (cables are frayed so not using it at the moment):

  5. Hey guys. I suggest do bodyweight training coz by doing pullups, pushups, dips and squats will make you strong for your weight. And eventually lalakas din kayo to add weight in those lifts. You can also do isolation exercises using bodyweight like tricep extensions and bar curls for biceps

Body weight training is good and can be a good start for those getting into fitness. However, body weight training doesn't have progressive overload, which is essential for building larger muscles. It can be good for definition, but not mass. The best is to combine body weight training with training with equipment. For example, I still do push-ups every now and then even if I do flat bench presses most of the time. I also do pull ups and chin ups for my lats in place of a lat machine since I have yet to take care of the lat machine cables here at home.

  6. Pictures of Frank Zane. This is the best body IMO, better than Arnold's. Best balance in physique and the body to really attain--not too big like what we see today, but has proportion and symmetry:

  7. Just stay fit and healthy, each one of us has our own design, no need to copy the body of others, Model Body is just a propaganda that everyone should have this kind of body, where as in reality everyone's body is unique and we should not discriminate others for not having a Model Body.

There's really no harm in copying another's physique. It's not that one would be able to copy that exactly, but it is something to aspire to. It is a goal and a motivation in order to get to that physique you want in time.

  8. The body that I aspire is the prime one of Frank Zane. His body then has true aesthetic appeal--good,clean classic line. Is that possible within a year going naturally--meaning not "cheating" (using fat burners or any other thing to get leaner faster)?

  9. As of now my latest addition to my gym is a pair of 25 lbs. dumbbells. I wonder why sports shops here like Toby's don't have 30 lbs-35 lbs. dumbbells. I remember Chris Sports used to have those, but they're the imported ones. Anyway, my next target would be to buy kettlebells. So far I have a barbell, adjustable bench, a pair of adjustable dumbbells, 16 lbs. dumbbells, 20 lbs. dumbbells, lat machine and of course the new 25 lbs pair as well as plates. I am planning to have a t-bar but I don't have the space for it anymore...

  10. I once had respect for this guy, but his recent statements as Senator has made me lose respect for him. He should have just become a trainer, since boxing is his forte.
