1. Sana matuloy yun pag trade kay Ababou sa Barako in exchange for the 1st round pick next year, Paniguradong namumurong lottery pick na naman yan.

He plays like Asi pero may tendency like Crisano. And.........a candidate of Gilas, meaning, may sinabi rin.

Given na nai-trade na si Rico at Willy I wonder if Usita can make the line-up or just be a practice player at most?

  3. i hope this isn't true.. wag sana pakawalan si Labagala.. sana si urbiztondo na lang ibalik sa barako..

    http://www.philstar....monfort-ginebra

confirmed na ...“The proposed trade between Ginebra's Rob Labagala and Barako Bull's Eman Monfort has been approved by the PBA,” the Commissioner’s Office said in an official statement

  4. i think, adding another guard to their line up will not work... mark and la eats up the playing time...meron pa silang urbiztondo at helterbrand.... i think hey should go for an athletic forward (maybe a 4).... or a long range bomber....

sinong athletic forward who plays the 4 spot would you suggest?

Personally my preference is that they draft Teng if they would be able to get that 4th pick. While Mark eats up a lot of playing time, he is often injured lately and the same goes with JJ. Also, tumatanda na rin sila so we need some insurance that someone can fill in. Thus it would not be a bad idea if they could get Teng as MC47's understudy. Being a rookie, I wouldn't think Teng will "demand" lots of playing time and will probably be happy in a chief reliever role playing 15 at most 20 min a game. The guy can also play multiple position at SG and SF so pwede rin siyang maging part ng rotation nila Ellis at Baracael at SF depende sa match-up

I have not seen Forrester play but based on the papers the guy is a wing player and quite athletic so he could also be an asset that would fit in perfectly in GSM's run and gun style of play.

It would also be interesting if GSM could tab Justin Chua a big man who can probably play the 4 or 5 with a good perimeter shooting (10 to 12 ft away from the basket). The guy may not be athletic but he is a banger. However I don't think its worth using the 4th pick on him. Maybe GSM can trade Rico M to get him early in the 2nd round.

  5. I'm just so happy we won this one vs the clippers specially after the issue that Coach Rivers ordered that all the Lakers banners be covered during the Clippers home games

For a team built around minimum salaried players and yet was able to produce a total of 76 points from their bench, they obviously performed beyond expectations today vs the clippers.

  6. Belga is a free agent ... ang alam ko lahat ng free agent sa pba "restricted" ang status pag naging free agent therefore may right of first refusal ang mother team.

In Belga's case, it was reported that he turned down the initial offer of RoS and wants more money. Parang ayaw naman magbigay ng mas malaking offer ang RoS so maybe GSM can put a bid via an offer sheet to get him

  7. mouth watering possibility....

    starting 5

    c- slaughter/sangalang

    pf- aguilar

    sf- ellis

    sg- caguioa

    pf- tenorio

    off the bench

    c-mamaril

    pf- raymundo/wilson

    sf-baracael/ababou

    sg- urbiztondo

    pf- helterbrand/ lagabala

although i think they would have to let go of someone....

wala si Rico M.??? are you saying siya ang dapat i-let go?

  8. What are the chances of ginebra landing the first pick? Reports says that if they will be lucky to get # 1, they would pick sanggalang.... Unless parks jr will join the draft?

if air 21 has the worst record this season then GSM will have a 67% chance of landing that 1st pick

  9. Add to the equation Chris Banchero (certainly a mouth-watering prospect)...But then again, Ginebra has lots of guards. This year's drafting would be interesting

Banchero is not eligible for this year's draft and is D-League bound. He will be a good prospect come 2014.

  10. http://www.pbadraft.net/#!MOCK DRAFT 2013/c1x9v

I heard that Ginebra owns the right to pick first courtesy of trade with (forgot the team)..............Ginebra is interested kay Ian Sangalang not Greg Slaughter.

The Gin Kings owns the pick of Air 21 but traded their own pick away in a previous deal.

The 2 teams with the worst record this year will be having a lottery to decide who will own the first pick. I think Air 21 owns one of the worst record this season therefore will probably be one of the two teams in the lottery.

I think Sangalang should be a good choice since GSM needs a big man and given that he is to my opinion more athletic and has better post moves than Greg. Ian teaming up with Japeth will surely fit the run and gun style of GSM. Now the problem arises if and when Ray Parks decides to also turn pro. I wonder who will they choose? But then, San Mig is also in the mix as they own the pick of Globalport. So most likely, the SMC management will decide among themselves.

  11. Ex-Celtics Fab Melo who was traded to and waived by the Grizzlies has just cleared waivers.

It seems no one among the NBA's front office are willing to gamble on THE supposed future elite starting shot blocking big man of the Celtics even if he is just owed $1.3M.

I guess the starting shot blocking big man (not even with an "elite" tag) of the NBA D League is not worth such a price tag laugh.gif

  12. Well that tells you a lot about a player who someone thought could be an elite starting shot blocking center of the celtics.

If the Grizz don't want him and the C's are really high on him then I think the Celtics can sign him after 30 dayswink.gif

  13. 1376458635' post='8827413']

Saying that the Lakers do not win a C without Bynum is like saying the Bulls not winning a C without Cartwright or Longley or the Heat winning a C without Haslem.

    1376840555' post='8834746']

during the kobe era, did they win without Bynum?

So what is the relevance of this to the post of dencio?

If this question is not related whatsoever then what's your point? As we know during the Kobe era (as of today) the Lakers didn't win any C's without Bynum. But they also didn't win one without Pau and/or without Ron Artest a.k.a Metta World Peace either. Just as MJ didn't win a C without either Bill or Luc.

  14. Sabi sa isang article na nabasa ko ... "The Fab Melo Era in Boston is over before it ever really began." rolleyes.gif

Well considering un mga BIGS na kinuha ni Ainge sa draft, it does not really look good for Fab. Kaya nga nag post na ako dati kung may place pa siya sa Boston Celtics.
