I saw why CTC is still sticking with Garcia.

I like what i saw, they complement each other, kaya nalula bigla yung blackwater 1st quarter tambak agad di alam gagawin.
Walang problema kung papalitan ni JBL, may nakita lang din ako na special nung nag triple tower si CTC. Imagine kung mag gel yung 3 bigs at bumalik na sa condition si Greg?
Ang kalilangan lang to make the triple tower combi work, is to make sure papasok ang mga open 3's tulad ng nangyari ke kfer last time. Pasok agad mga open 3 nya.

Our import looked very uncomfortable out there.. Hindi din sanay sa pisikalan, malambot. Ang bagal kumilos, at walang rhytm ang jumper.

Baka kahit nanjan si greg, kailangan pa rin ng malaking import... sabi nga ni austria, ang advantage nila si junmar, kung kukuha ng maliit na import ma nenegate ang advantage na yun... last season.. same thing might apply to gsm... ang kailangan mag step up local shooters.. kfer manuel la...
yep.. kahit anong galing ng malaking import, pag na double team ito tapos hindi din naman maka shoot ang mga shooters na open na naka abang sa labas, wala ring silbi.
Look at ROS now, their import is gaining too much attention on defense kaya the likes of Chris Tiu, James Yap, Daquiaoag and even Belga are having a field day on the 3 pt line. imagine if jeff chan was still there. ROS is sitting at 3-0 now because of their imports effect on the locals and on opposing teams defense.

Next game nila sa Sunday pa kung ganyan palagi yung schedule na binibigay ng PBA sa Ginebra walang mangyayari sa team hindi maka bwelo panay kita nalang kasi iniicip ng PBA
on the other hand pabor sa import kasi 1 practice pa lang sya with the team kaya di pa alam masyado ang mga plays. Madaming time para mag practice kasi sunday pa next game.
lets give the guy a break, 1 game pa lang naman. kitang kita na wala sya sa kundisyon at di alam ang mga plays. kung ganun pa rin showing nya sa sunday, well time to change him na nga siguro.
what bothers me is KFer.. I am really, really seeing shades of Ellis in him. I trade na to along with Mariano and a draft pick for Sean Anthony ng Global.

GINEBRA has decided to make an import change to make up for the momentary absence of Greg Slaughter in the PBA COmmissioner's Cup.
The Gin Kings are bringing in 6-foot-10 Charles Garcia to replace winger Shane Edwards, who was supposed to stand in for Justin Brownlee.
Coach Tim Cone confirmed the development on Friday.

Clutch player din si Edwards. Why he always becomes just a replacement, I will never know.
As for Greg, if what I see in practice is a sign, then it is a sign of good things to come.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Wednesday, April 4, ordered popular Philippine fast food company Jollibee Foods Corporation to regularize more than 6,000 workers, as the agency continues its campaign against contractualization.
DOLE National Capital Region Director Henry John Jalbuena said in a press statement that his office ordered Jollibee to regularize 6,482 workers deployed by two contractors.
DOLE also ordered Jollibee to refund 426 workers more than P15 million in "illegally collected payments" from the company's "Coop Share, Coop Christmas Paluwagan Fund, and Coop Savings Fund."
In a statement sent to Rappler, Jollibee said it is following the process DOLE had prescribed to appeal the order.
Jollibee said it remains committed to “complying with the law and DO 174, which allow contracting arrangement with legitimate Service Provider.”
“In compliance with regulations, we only deal with reputable Service Contractors that have been duly accredited and registered with DOLE. We have been cooperating and will continue to cooperate with DOLE," Jollibee said.

Pwede naman syang i sign as stand in import. Backup kumbaga, that way the contract dispute can be avoided. Unless may implications na hindi natin alam.

The triangle needs shooters to work. Remember Alaska have Jolas (a pure shooter), Bong Hawkins (outside threat na laging kinukumpara ke Jervy), Poch Juinio na Center pero tumitira sa labas, Johnny A na shooter din, Kenneth Duremdes na isa ring deadly 3 pt shooter, Roel Gomez, Rodney Santos, etc, etc.. Sa B-Meg naman, kalakasan ni James Yap, Simon, Urbiztondo, Barroca puro outside threat din yang mga yan.
Walang problema sa triangle, ang problema eh mga players natin, hindi maka shoot "consistently" sa perimeter at sa tres. Ang SMB nag pa practice talaga ng tres ang mga shooters nila at talagang extra work sa outside shots, eh ang mga players kaya natin?
Simula nung masamang bagsak na injury ni Kfer (yung una mukha), parang hindi na bumalik yung dati niyang laro. Pansin niyo ba? The triangle is proven, parang dribble drive ng Tnt. Pag pumasok tres ng TNT, mahirap sila talunin, kasi wala silang inside threat, pag hindi, malimit talo sila. Unlike SMB, kung di napasok sa labas ang tira, bigay ke junmar ang bola.

watched this Lawrence guy the other day sa ALAB game sa quarters series nila. Tama kayo, may pagka Abueva nga ang datingan, ano ba height nito? may angas din, bagay nga sa Ginebra.
We all agree na kailangan natin ng shooters. Ang bagal kasi mag mature ng mga bata nating sina Kfer at Mariano. Si Art kelan ba lalaro? Kailangan natin ng strong sa no. 3 position bukod pa sa shooter dahil matanda na si JDV. Ang SMB kahit malakas pa si Arwind may nakahanda ng pamalit in the name of Stanhardinger. Yung Marcio nila may kapalitan na Pessumal na halos pareho ang laro. That team is the championship prototype team. Good Bigman supported by shooters and strong defenders.
Pag si Sol naman nilagay mo sa no. 3, wala ng quality backup kay LA dahil si Scottie is playing SG. I think its time to look for trade options or more FA signings tulad ng kay Caperal. OK na ang bigman rotations natin, future proof na sa ngayon. Pero sa position 1, 2 and 3 hindi pa masyado. How about we trade Kfer for LA Revilla? or Kfer + Mariano + Draft Pick for Mac Belo?

agree with CTC assessment that he got out coached. He should have anticipated na mag sosona ang SMB dahil tinitirahan nga si Junmar ni Prince sa labas.
wala tayong pang sagot sa SONA, hindi mabasag depensa at andaming TO. Even Scotties game was removed dahil sa sona ng SMB. 1pt and i think 0 rebound for scottie? correct me if i am wrong pero credit talaga sa SMB defense.

im particularly sad for Prince Caperal.. He didnt deserve this loss. The guy is the best player of the game 1st half pa lang. pick your poison.. SMB didnt do anything special.. Double junmar to take away his usual game - done, but results to open 3's of Arwind and Lassiter. Its basic basketball.
During Von Pessumals run, wala na si junmar at 2nd unit din natin ang naglalaro.
I think its fatigue that took a toll on our team. kaya sa tingin ko hindi na pinilit ni CTC nung 2nd half si LA, Japhet at JDV para makapahinga.
Kinain din ng buhay ng 2nd unit ng SMB ang 2nd unit natin, in short - MISMATCH.
We will get game 2, we have the master of adjustments in CTC. He knows what to do.

Japhet actually had a good game, kulang lang talaga sa support. JDV has more TO than points i think.
Scottie is the ultimate warrior. Yung weakness natin na 3spot lumalabas against SMB dahil nga wala si Barney. Pag sinama mo si sol sa starting unit, wala ka ng aasahan sa 2nd unit. Kaso wala p masyadong mapiga ke AJ at KFer.
OK yung Caperal. I hope he continues to be aggressive.

Kung June pa si JBL pre, it means mga 2 to 3 games pa si Garcia right? that would be our 5th or 6th out of 11 games. Halfway na. I hope hindi na matalo ang BGSM until dumating si JBL kung talagang papalitan na nila. Or maybe baka waiting in line si JBL until magtatalo ang ginebra?
