Just saw your post re Stock Market. Agree with ya, food not bad, but nothing great. Its not cheap, too. And its owned by Del Monte actually. Weird to call it Stock Market though, its bec. they have "stock" of DM products daw. Duh! I thought at first it was a theme-resto inspired by stock market trading floor, and the waiters would be called "traders". haha

tried Melo's at Burgos Circle. Steak is ok. Ambience is ok. Staff accomodating. Common restroom for M/F, without water.

hi, have you tried L'Entrecote at Burgos Circle? it serves steak and fries only, from what i heard.

Bon Chon is overrated.

obviously positive thinking helps in being successful, pero just as obviously one needs to work hard, have luck, pray, etc. too. its not the only thing.

I still prefer Alfredo's Steak House along tomas morato. Medium Well.. With caesar salad as starter and downing my steak with a good glass of Sangria. Yum!

Jons, re Franz, just go into that small side street (corner is a BPI yata) and you'll see it. i've eaten there twice, its okay naman pero i wouldn't really go out of my way for it. If i were you, i'd just go to Charlie's instead and try the Angus Beef burger. Much much much better!

Btw, has anyone tried Big Better Burgers? i read about it sa newspaper recently.

good news, that newfangled SALN thing is now "optional", meaning no one will file it! hahahaha.

personally, its not a bad idea in principle, although i think they should increase the income threshold from P500K to P3 million, since they're targeting high net worth individuals. Pero implementation is bad, dapat they give enough time for everyone (including accountants, etc.) to know all the details.

After you get off the ferry, there will be lots of people at the port offering land transpo services, so you tell them which beach (White, Big La Laguna, etc.) you're off to, and be sure to make tawad concerning the price.

it helps to book your accomodations in advance, although i guess if you're going there during low season, or if you're not very picky, not really required.

Original burger + chocolate milk shake = nearly P600!
