Follow the footsteps of GMA and refuse to retire. Some things still left undone.

But... but... GMA is a UP and Ateneo de Manila graduate, with a PhD from Georgetown. That ugly bisaya is a kick out from Ateneo de Davao. How-how?

  2. I know you won't approve of this but another vp in another company told me 10 confirmed Marcos voters in their firm were bypassed for promotion. He said their chances of being promoted in the company are very slim. They're also blacklisted in other allied companies.

Just their way of expressing love of God and country.

  3. LOL! The head of HR in another company just messaged me. FOURTEEN Marcos voters were passed over for promotion. :D So that's why last Friday Dutertards and Marcos fanatics in our firm were huddling together. Maybe they'll strategize about going "underground" or pretending to change allegiance. Not going to work, half-wits. We know who you are. We took down your names these past two months when you were stupidly celebrating your so-called 'victory.'

I think I'm going to suggest to our HR head that the names of these 'tards be emailed to all "friendly" HR departments. Just in case they try scampering away to other companies.

  4. Well, my daughter was accepted to UP on May 31 but other than that, since May 9, I got my kicks by doing any of the following to known Marcos voters:

    1. collect money they owe me (4 so far)

    2. inform card companies their present whereabouts (3 so far)

    3. inform any company they're applying to (so far resulted in 2 rejections.)

    4. participated in 2 revalidas in our company. The Marcos voter got a flat "NO" from me.

Sad, toxic, sore, bitter, petty and pathetic. "Leni's Revenge"? Seriously? nakakaawa naman if that is what is fueling you here. Grieving? Spending time grieving on a message board online by calling people idiots and making threats to 31m people? What a sad and sore loser. There is a thread about defining a loser here in mtc and you are it.  With your "Leni's revenge" line you just expose yourself as nothing more than a Leni fanatic living in your own distorted reality and a sore loser. I think it will be better if people here just ignore you from here on and left you alone to grieve and be bitter. I certainly would.

You're right, you're right, and you're right. But let's look at things in a clearer light. The middle class, the educated ones, the intelligent ones, the ones with secure financial standing, are sure to act in a way that will make their dissatisfaction felt. Face it, the May 9 fiasco pissed them off. I can't be to blame for that certainly. How do the numbers look? 15 million. Imagine what those 15 million can do. They are the managers, the employers, doctors, lawyers, the businessmen. They're the one's whose say goes. Now imagine these guys taking out their anger at certain people: the contractuals, the employment hopefuls, the perennial rank and files, professionals who can't even make more than 100k a month. That's where most dutertards and marcos fanatics cluster. Are bosses being underhanded and unprofessional if they act vindictively towards Marcos voters? They certainly are. BUT they can still do it, and avoid trouble from unions and DOLE. Again, they're pissed off, and many have decided to take things into their own hands.

Ordinary people, not necessarily those in power, are already acting similarly. Remember the news about the actress Pokwang? She's collecting on all Marcos voters who owe her money. My lady friends are also doing this right now. And you know what? They feel no remorse. It's like they want a full extermination of Marcos voters from the gene pool.

  6. Nearing retirement in banking.

I chatted with all my friends (in banking and other fields.) Since we're all of like mind, and most of us are in somewhat good positions to influence things, we agreed on the following:

    1. Keep a list of all Duterte and Marcos voters. Make it your business to know who people voted for, whether they're employed or applying.

    2. DON'T HIRE ANY MARCOS OR DUTERTE VOTER

    3. DON'T TRAIN OR TEACH ANY MARCOS OR DUTERTE VOTER

    4. DON'T PROMOTE ANYONE WHO VOTED FOR MARCOS LAST MAY 9. EVER.

    ****

A lot of them have actually implemented it. They say it's most fun if you let it trickle down to the person that he or she wasn't hired or passed over for promotion precisely for that reason. :)

  7. What can be blamed on a president for a hostage taking and a military operation (that was basically successful) is hardly significant. Every administration has its own list of regrettable fvck-ups (the Duterte admin not the least.)

Yolanda, like Pinatubo and Ondoy, simply exposed (yet again) the country's inherent weakness in the face of extraordinary calamities. Again, hardly can preparedness (or the lack of it) be blamed on a president because we just don't have resources to be "fully prepared" or to mitigate such events.

Dengvaxia? Proven to be a logical move by the past adminstration, and the ill effects were as expected. It's all up to Abnoy's enemies to inflate the event into something worth pursuing. Well, the whole thing collapsed in P. Acosta's face. Where is she now?

West Philippine Sea? Consistent in asserting the country's claim.

Worst airport and laglag bala? I can't even see the connect.
