  1. Non warrantied units for parts (service warranty only) go for as much as 12K- 14 K

while warrantied units (service & parts) for 1 year (Samsung) goes for 15-16K

warrantied units for 2 years (Samsung/Welcom) costs around 18K

Cool, thanks, would you know how long does the battery last? Where did she buy it and how much?
  2. hmmm sounds interesting boomouse

MS Exchange in the iPhone! hehehe whew.....i dont have to access webmail at home/net cafe or use my HSDPA Symbian Series 60 phone for email :D

uhmmm, i tinkered with a friend's iPhone a week ago..., and in fairness, im quite impressed with its accelerometers when i tried the games as well as its "unique" interface hehe :D

  3. Started his career with the Bullets (yes he ended his career as a Warrior swingman), was supposed to be the "star" since the current scoring machine back then, the versatile Bernard King has been slowed down by age and his knee

Most of the NBA scouts called him a "shooter that cannot shoot" (much like Rex Walters ) since he had trouble hitting from the "farther" NBA 3 point line and his inconsistency in making perimeter Js

he was later transplanted by Don McLean as the Bullets "star" together with Rod Strickland and Jeff Malone

hmmm which comes to mind two more Bullets "overrated" players = Tom Gugliotta and Rex Chapman :D

Now, I remember this guy... used to play for the Bullets if I'm not mistaken... he's from IU am I right?

I remember he was being touted as a shooter during his early years but retired as an inside operator when he was with the Warriors yata...

  4. Very typical of Nokia N-Series "new" releases..."buggy"

Once repaired, make sure its firmware is updated to the latest version

But based on your post, you are one unlucky buyer , the phone you bought has a "hardware" defect

I am pissed off with my Nokia N82. I bought it last Tuesday. I shot one picture with the camera last Wednesday. However, on Thursday, the camera screen was blank and refused to take any picture. I brought it to the Nokia care center. It is under warranty pa, but it will require 3 to 4 weeks to get the necessary parts to replace the camera.

It is more difficult to use compared to my old Nokia 6300. The keys are very small. The GPS is slow.

  5. Grunge & metal music that were "packaged" as mainstream :D to join hip hop, rap, power pop and boy bands (uugghhh)

    a good era for music, but i still prefer the 70's & 80's :D

  6. the NEO line has launched an Asus EEE/Astone UMPC counterpart...the Neo Explore X1....it runs on Windows XP Starter, 512 MB SDRAM and has a carrying case, same stuff (WiFi, SD slots, USB Slots, etc)

drawback is aesthetics...it looks like those V-Tech laptop toys or a Fisher Price laptop toy replica...

the upside is it looks tough & rugged (solid build/construction) and instead of a 4 GB SS HDD, it has a 30 GB PATA HDD

    sells around 16.9 K up

    :D

  7. If they were one team..the Yugos....imagine this cast: Divac, Kukoc, Stojakovic, Dino Radja, Zeljko Rebraca, Peja Drobnjak, Peja Danilovic, Dan Gadzuric, Marko Jaric, Vladimir Radmanovic, Igor Racocevic, Darko Milicic, Nenad Krystic, Zarko Cabarcapa & Aleksandr Pavlovic

    15 all NBA Yugos

isama mo pa yung Slovenians: Rasho Nesterovic, Bostjan Nachbar, Primoz Brezec, Sasha Vujacic, Beno Udrih

    ang lakas neto

    were
  8. Err..."Jasmine" Takamine i mean :D hehehe

hehehe, pards yung Stella ako na lang nagbigay ng pangalan ha, di talaga yun yung model name. :upside:

yep, buong-buo nga tunog pati harmonics! :thumbsupsmiley: that's why i love this guitar so much.

  9. Ey...ive "tested" that Stella Takamine before....the sound blew me away :D

Harmonics flew off the fretboard :D

  10. Travelling for business is fun but it entails greater expectation when you get back at the office

Travel/s at company's expense is an investment :D so make the most out it

Boracay still stands out from the beaches ive been: Sanya (China), Langkawi (Malaysia) & Phuket (Thailand)

As for my own..i love road trips (either by public transpo or private vehicle) around Luzon

Tried cruising (via ship) twice...(dapat madami kayo o may SO para di ka mabore) to Palawan & Bacolod

For local destinations via plane...Davao & Bora for me are the best :D

  11. When im travelling, not all areas have Wi-Fi signals, and most of em aint free, and an HSDPA phone is faster than EDGE anytime when the phone is used as a modem

For video conference calls, iPhone cant cut it w/o 3G support

And most apps are supported by Windows, as almost 90% of PCs are Windows powered

I agree Wi Fi is cheaper..that is if you have your own Wifi subscription at home or office or if you linger around Wi-Fi zones most of the time

But for people on the go (mostly on the road), its different

I still don't understand the need to wait for 3G or HSDPA. I'm sure most of us would rather use wifi since its cheaper.
  12. the current iPhone for me is a"novelty" item compared to the brute strength & wide array of features of the HTC Tytyn or even the N95..

Its basically Wifi/EDGE phone with multimedia functions + an iPod :D

I think its better to wait for the Asian version of this with 3G or HSDPA

ahhh ok! I'll probably wait for Apple to launch its new wave of IPhones before buying mine hehehe
