  1. What is most important is we listen to our body and how it reacts to whatever we introduce into it. As what they would say perhaps, "different folks, different strokes" or perhaps, more accurately, "different bodies, different strokes".

In my case, I have been on a one-meal a day diet for the past 4 1/2 years. Before I went into this, my FBS, BP, SGPT, SGOT, LDL and triglycerides were all above the prescribed normal range. Today, everything is normal. All these were achieved without the benefit of medication. I refused to take the medicines prescribed by my doctor.

Before, I was always wary whenever I go to bed with someone..... :D :D :D There were times, malfunctions would happen. :D :D :DToday, it is with deep confidence that I welcome going to bed with anyone, except men of course........ :D :D :D

True. But one day meal is dangerous to someone who have diabetes and not learned his/her diet. Hypoglycemia is real and dangerous.

It is still best to consult an Endocronologist or Diabetes Doctor and FOLLOW what the Drs. recommendation rather than play with his health. Not all diabetics will be lucky as us.

Diabetes is the number 1 killer in the world.

(Imagine they ban cannabis and others while the CULPRIT of death of most people is carbs and sugar? Oh wow. )

  2. And...

By the way... yes there is fasting and intermittent fasting. The health benefit of the latter is to boost your metabolism - but this still require you to hit your calorie goal which is minumum of 1200jkal.

However --- fasting is not recommended for diabetic.

  3. Simple lang. Just eat once a day. Nothing to avoid nor to monitor. Normal blood sugar is guaranteed.

No. That make you hypoglycemic. OR if you have diabetes... thats dangerous that cab even put you into coma.

And also, our body needs at least 1200jkal to function (digest, think, read etc. It is the BMR or Basal Metabolic Rate)

I know it would be such a hassle to some to count calories (but not to me. I learned it by practice --- setting up an app to count calories, logging in all food intake, logging in fitness activity, READING AND RESEARCHING NUTRITIONAL VALUES of each food ill eat. But hey, thats me! My methods will be different, but it worked for me. I reversed my Type 2 Diabetes in 2 months time. My blood chem now is flawless)

What am I trying to say here? Diabetes cannot be treated, but can be controlled by:

    1. Discipline

    2. Eating the RIGHT food

    3. Eating the right AMOUNT of food

    4. Be physically active

    5. Take your medicine

Diabetics, and to everyone. Do not starve yourself. You are just putting your effort to waste and your life at risk.

  4. Carbs can turn into sugar if not used.

All fruits (fructose/sucrose) has sugar so pick a fruit that has less number of sugar such blueberries etc. You can get the vitamins and minerals of fruits from vegetables.

Non fat items has full of sugar, so if you have diabetes you might avoid the non fat items.

Sugar makes you crave. Try avoiding sugar and the once you crave before wont appeal to you anymore.

  5. When I started working out, I was so conscious of working out with other people. And I cannot drag anyone to join me in the gym, I bought several items :

    1. Dumbells

    2. Stationary Bike (I bought in O Shopping for 2,999

    3. Bench

    4. Jumping Rope

    5. Push up bar (in which up till now di ko ginagamiy

    6. Punching Bag (my cousin gave me)

    7. Boxing gloves

    8. Stepper

Ok naman... its just that it is not complete just like in the gym. Kung konting kembot kembot lang, oks na. And of course to avoid muscle memory you have to try variety of work out routine.

So ayan, di masyadong nagagamit. And the dumbells, sobrang gaan na for me. I might be giving it all to my ate except for the punching bag and the gloves.

  6. Magastos ito. Eh if you dont give your heart to diet and exercise ang saklap ng rebound.

Tried Master Detox ni Beyonce, grabe kung maningil. Agad-agad at daig pa ang bumbay sa interes ng tabang ibabalik sayo.

Pero I have some na I think, helped me to be more energetic and to lift some weight, bebeh!

    1. LCarnitine (Cornicor) - fat burner that converts your fat to energy. Its OTC and prescribed to cardiac patients. Compare with Fitrum, who has around 20mg of lcarnitine, it has 330mg. Our body needs at least 1000mg to see its effect.

But I used it as booster lang. Pampapawis pa more. It is only sold in Mercury for P23 per capsule. It is made by GlaxoSmithe yata.

    2. Green Tea Extract Capsule - it is a fat burner. I think ... kase it has caffeine? Bonggang bonggang energy ang binibigay niya sa aten. But we have to consume that energy through exercise to avoid palpitation. Upper nga siya diba? Para sa walang energy.

And lastly, my ever ever favorite brewed coffee.

I have to have brewed coffee before working out. I come to the gym a lil bit early just to enjoy my coffee while watching my gymmates shedding some crazy fat cells. Enjoy enjoy lang! Booster ko siya. Parang spinach ni Popeye.

Well, all of these walang silbi to lose weight if you stick your ass to the couch. Galaw galaw din pag me time.

    Bow.

  7. Yes po. I think if you are not overly overweight, focus and dedicated - you can do it. Kayang humabol.

You can also visit www.dietdoctor.com to know more about it.

Focus lang. Dedication and Hitting the goal.

Pag sinabing "di ko kaya" ... wala po talagang mangyayari.

I am sharing this kasi it worked miraculously to me.

    Goodluck :)
