jacuzzi
Fully Synthetic. You can feel the difference. It is more quiet and drives a lot faster too. But technical articles warn about using new synthetic oils on old vehicles. Maybe that has more to do with viscosity and the user hoping to force mileage of over 8k on a single oil change or filter. Users must check oil usage regularly. If the dip stick shows low or even below that, then maybe change oil if dirt is present. Depending on use, engines are expected to consume oil every 1000 kms. Check your owner's manual for details. I would avoid the synthetic blend. There is a tendency to cake and have sludge deposits. The weaker oil deteriorates and when it breaks, it releases the load of dirt and carbon deposit that turn into cement or gummy syrup that can only be removed by an engine overhaul. TheBadMechanic
Para sa akin same lang lahat yan. Huwag lang ung fake engine oil, it will damage ur engine. Ang important always do the regular check and follow the PM sked of your car/motorcycle, I'm sure tatagal yang auto mo. Quote Link to comment
Ernest Ty
Much better buy at gasoline station nalang or mismong distributor. Mabilis mag evaporate, nag sludge, kulang sa viscosity ang kadalasan nangyayari. Drive safe 2 Quote Link to comment

gentlemanyak_007
I ensure the oil I use conforms to the API rating in the car manual. My vehicle specifies API SM rating or higher. I also use 10W40 for Metro Manila traffic. Quote Link to comment

gentlemanyak_007
Just follow the motor oil specs required in the vehicle manual. You may be using oil that will not protect your engine due to wrong oil specs. Synthetic, Mineral or Semi-synthetic oil will just dictate the frequency of oil changes. What is important is the motor oil specs , 10W-40, 10W-30 and SM, SN etc. oil rating. You might be using synthetic motor oil but if it is below the required oil rating for your engine then you still risk damage to the engine/more wear and tear. Quote Link to comment
KaiSir16
Fully synthetic oil. And change every 5k kms. Or just regularly check it. For diesel try using Amsoil Max-Duty. Super long lasting sya. Quote Link to comment
bong.a
does not matter what brand oil or kind of oil you use.... as long as it conforms to your owner's manual's viscosity and you practice regular changes. Quote Link to comment
