Immortal666
I took up 6 units of Spanish back in college but I was just studying it for the grade and not to learn. The phrase that I can consistently say is "Vamos a comer!" Sayang! If I took it seriously, I would've been earning more than double I'm making now in my call center job. Quote Link to comment

artvader
I took 6 units of Japanese during my college days just for the heck of it. Actually I was underloaded at the time and I wanted to fill up a slot... so I said to myself: why not take a subject that will be useful someday, like when I get myself a new gadget/household appliance with japanese instructions? LB
i took spanish 1 & 2 (requirement), persian and japanese (elective) Quote Link to comment
creatix
I learned Nippongo and Mandarin taught by my teachers in my HS days. While in college, I did study basic Spanish and some French. Now, I'm trying to learn ilocano, tagalog, and visayan words with the aid of books, which I bought from National bookstore from my recent trip in P.I. Hope I can master these languages or dialects. brawler201
I took up Spanish in college. Last batch na required yung 4 na Spanish subjects. I would love to brush up on my Spanish and further my learning of it. I also want to learn another European language, German, French or Italian. And one Asian language, probably Nihonggo. Nihonggo is ok to speak but is hell to learn to write. Quote Link to comment
RX8
In high school, I took up Spanish and just a semester ago, I had advance German. Two semesters ago, I had basic German Quote Link to comment
yogart30
I had French 11 and French 12 back in college. I'm a tourism grad so language electives were required. Had fun actually learning it and I'm planning to further my studies. Best school to study French is Alliance Francaise de Manille located in Makati. They offer affordable short term courses. My insipration to study french -- Olivier Martinez... (unfaithful) Quote Link to comment
