thebigbadlonewolf
This could also be in the Music Section, but it seemed more appropriate to post here. Anyway, please post your suggestions as to what music would be great for : 0) Warmup1) Cycling/Spinning (esp. Cosmic Cycling/RPM)2) Anaerobic Workouts (weights)3) Cooldown/Stretching At present, I usually just play a lot of HEAVY ROCK on shuffle (from AC/DC (Back in Black, Whole Lotta Rosie, etc) and Breaking Benjamin (Follow You,etc)) for weights, and Reggae for Cooldown/Warmup/Stretching. It's ok, but am looking for some variety (actually tried to listen to some ballads...haha didn't work) Am PARTICULARLY interested in the soundtrack(s)/sequence* that they use for COSMIC CYCLING/RPM/SPINNING....would love to ask the instructors, but I rarely get a chance to attend their time slots. I usually end up spinning alone , and I would like to use the same soundtracks/sequence that they do. *i think this is also predetermined by the tempo of the song? like it starts slow and escalates to a peak then slows down for cooldown? Specific Songs/ Sequence appreciated. Let's make SWEAT music together! Cheers! Quote Link to comment

daDJ
I go for Ministry of Sound compilations which include its annual hit list and dance hits. I also like listening to the remixes of DJ Tiesto and other trance, techno-electro remixes. Quote Link to comment
thebigbadlonewolf
yup ok din MOS....i have most of their stuff too, but i usually listen to it when i'm in the stadium (open air) or when working on my golf swing (surprisingly, the "Charlie Brown" track did wonders for my rhythm! :upside: ) Quote Link to comment

If its an official Les Mills release (owner of the FF franchise), the track listings are usually listed in their website. Thats how I was able to put together the Body Balance tracks (circa 2003) before I left for the US. Got the track listing, used limewire ... burnt it. Do a google to find the exact website of Les Mills then do a search on "classes" or "track listing" - I remember theres a pull down menu for it. Quote Link to comment
