storm
Naalala ko pa nung early 70s ay uso yung mga car rally ala the Love bug where the contenders were the Corollas of Dante Silverio and Pocholo Ramirez and the Escort of Arthur Tuazon. Pero much earlier pa e dominant ang mga eurocars -- beetle and minicooper. I saw yesterday a vintage minicooper in Banawe. Cute brute  Quote Link to comment

With the news yesterday of looming gas price increases (they say an increase every week for the next month) and the hike in transportation fares to follow, I just couldn't help thinking of the classic Ariel Ureta line (which you all know, so I don't have to repeat it here) that landed him in Crame. Makabili nga ng bisikleta. Good exercise. (Patay ka nga lang sa pollution) Edited September 10, 2004 by jt2003 Quote Link to comment

Makabili nga ng bisikleta. Good exercise. (Patay ka nga lang sa pollution) pare, biking/cycling is a good exercise, as it involves nearly all muscles and joints in the body. it strengthens stamina, sharpens the senses and enables you to explore...i understand it's hard sa manila, you must go out of town...
