now, i'm confused. do you want to get out of the employment contract? ano ba whole story? nagtraining ka tapos nagsign ka ng second contract for employment and now you want out kahit within the two-year perios as specified in the first contract? ganun ba? tapos may pinapabayaran sa yo na P100K for the training? tama ba?

kahit HR lang pumirma sa contract, binding pa rin yun sa company basta authorized to sign for and in behalf yung HR person.

Ano ba mga dapat i consider when buying a computer? Advice naman mga tol.

Depende sa pangangailangan mo. Personally, ako depende kung kelan ako mag-uupgrade ulit. Kung matagal, sinasagad ko na as much as possible memory, HDD, CPU, mboard. Yun kasi yung di mo basta-basta mapapalitan.

pareng Oral,

kahit W2K server lang pwede na.

Oo, pero di kaya mas maganda ang upgrade to 2k3 kasi mas bago? Ginagamit ba nun yung drivers ng xp?

I have yet to administer a windows 2003 server but I assume it uses different drivers since XP and win 2k are already using different drivers.

As far as I know, WinXP CAN use Win2k drivers but not necessarily all of them. Also, I figure if the WinXP drivers work for Win2k3, then another certification process for the drivers won't be necessary.

I'm using win 2k and XP. And as far as I know, their drivers can't be interchanged. Win2k is just a different platform compared to XP. What drivers are you using that can be interchanged in these different OS? I don't know, you might just probably have an installer that supports these two OS. But if you'll inspect the drivers, they have actually different drivers on different folders.

Files -- Hardisk... much better kung 40 gig above....

Internet --- Modem ... pwedeng Internal mas mura...

Monitor -- 15" or mas malaki....

You get more for each peso besides, you can only add HDDs up to a certain point, after nun sakit na sa ulo pag-salvage ng files. What if dagdagan mo pa IDE (DVD player, CD writer, etc) tapos may tatamaan na HDD.

Basta sana consider mo din value for each peso spent di lang total cost.

Computer buying tips

First consideration is the cpu, intel vs amd

We all know that amd offers the better price to performance ratio.

and if the pc will be used primarily for gaming, getting the biggest bang for the buck

would allow you to buy better accessories such as better speakers, sound & video cards.

I heard that Intel has an edge on business applications, so as said by the earlier posters,

the intended usage of the PC should be taken into consideration.

Motherboards follow the type of CPU you will be utilizing.

These two (MB & CPU) would certainly be the most permanent parts of your PC so

it is highly recommended that you max them out as far as budget can reach.

Look for information in the previous postings and site reviews about the specifications,

and characteristics of the different components you intend to use. Planning what to buy

would save you a lot of money and trouble later on.

(sites such as tom's hardware and anandtech are recommended.)

My questions;

Hello there,

–I’m an American citizen (born in San Francisco / 26 y/o) and planning on purchasing, (owning a property in Manila) how much sg. ft. am I allowed?

--What ( How much) is the penalty if I go over the limit?

I’m really appreciated whatever information you can provide.  BTW, I’m paying my tax in Manila (property tax) yearly.

Thanks.

As an American citizen, I would have to know how you acquired it. If you were naturalized, you can still own real estate. It is not a matter of square feet but sq. meters. It is a substantial amount not limited to a house a lot.

But since you are born in SFO, where I am right now for the next 24 hours, were your parents still Filipinos at the time of your birth? If so, you can play for the PBA (just kidding). If they were, you can qualify for recognition as a natural born filipino citizen. The Constitution provides that any person whom at the time of their birth regardless of where they were born has a father or mother that is a filipino citizen, that person is considered a filipino citizen. It is a lengthy process with the DOJ but if you get it, you may own up to 5 hectares just like all of us whose parents decided not to migrant to the U.S.

There is no penalty or fine of owning more than what is allowed. You will just be forced to sell it.

Hope that helps.

<_<

Okay, thanks, really appreciate.

My parents are both an American citizen (by born), therefore the solution is to sell exceeding property, right? What if selling the possession is out of the question or let say that’s the last thing I’m going to do. Are there any alternatives/options to suffice my problem?

What if I just inherit it from my grandparents/parents, does this circumstances helps, and ohhhh my grandparents are Filipino Citizen, so, what are the odds?

Thank you very much, I know I owe you one, do you accept credit card? –j/k

thanks again,

Kathleen Jessica

PS

Don’t play and don’t like basketball, shopping is my game . . .

Jessie,

Sorry for the very late response. I was out of town for the last two weeks.

If your parents were Americans by birth, you no longer can be considered a Natural born citizen. And you are neither a naturalized american citizen either. You may inherit some property though because the person transmitting the property is a Filipino citizen. But it is quite hard for you to inherit from your grandmother as your parents are first in line along with their brothers and sisters. You stand in the place of you parent when it comes to inheriting if that parents gives up the inheritance.

Since you are an American citizen (2nd generation), you will not be entitled to have real property in your name. You can not buy property. You may only inherit intestate (no will) if there is any left for you.

For services, I may accept payment in kind. ;) ;) ;) .

P4 or AMD/Athlon XP can be the next best thing. Lakihan mo memory and invest ka sa matinong video card. (SOP for graphic users)

Hard drives? use Seagate/barracuda yung 7200 rpm ha.

Good luck bro.

flash animation ba?

for graphics and 3d rendering.

1.You should get 1 GB memory (RAM) must get at PC2700 DDR-333. (Brand: Apacer,

kingston or Kingmax)

2. Get a dual channel motherboard ( Epox, Abit or MSI)
