shyguycanada
Is anyone aware of any resorts that still have rooms during the Chinese New Year weekend? January 24 -29th - we're looking to stay in Puerto Galera and need help booking some decent hotel rooms. As well, is there any other transportation option from Manila to Batangas Pier? There will be several of us and we were thinking of hiring a taxi or private car. Edited January 3, 2009 by shyguycanada Quote Link to comment
fishy_orb
Chinese New Year weekend is usually not that packed as compared to the summer weeks.. there are a lot of decent places in White Beach.. It's usually wise to take the bus to Batangas as there are a lot of these leaving from Cubao (Jam Liner, etc). If your taking a car, get ready to leave it in the Batangas Pier. A hired car or taxi will burn holes in your pocket.. hehe.. (based on experience) Quote Link to comment

Perfect & thanks... I'll have to figure out what we're going to do. Between a couple people, that's not too much. Quote Link to comment

gyobags
any info on buri resort ?... Buri resort is located in a somewhat secluded part of PG,not much tourist frequent the place,It would be an ideal destination if you want privacy or on a honeymoon. It is pricier compared to just going to white beach.
