as i watch the news, hear the news

now i realize how fortunate i am,

that i can make this post, surf the net, while others are in total darkness

that i am dry and warm, while others are wet and inundated

that i have a roof, a house, a bed, while others seek shelter, newspaper and plastic to

keep warm or as bedding

that i have a choice of what to eat, while others have to wait or have none and have to ask

that my loved ones are all safe and sound asleep, while others search, cry or mourn for they have lost theirs

i do not know your grand plans, but for now i am thankful for what i have.

I know this isn't enough... but then, Lord, I thank you for all the things you gave to me... the nice people around me... my ever-solid & complete family & supportive friends that not all people have, who never fail to encourage me or back me up when I'm against something... the normal things I experience, witness or do everyday that some unfortunate brothers/sisters(deaf,blind,mute,etc) are missing out on like walking and talking freely, hearing different sounds... the morning sun & fresh air that I feel all the more whenever I go through my usual route from our house to the jeepney and bus terminals to the office/school... hearing and seeing all the irate and pleasant morning people hurrying to start their day that jobless people are always wishing they could also do... even the noise of the traffic jam which sounds way better than countless enormous logs rolling with the flash floods to crush houses & people to death... Lord I thank you so much for all these things and much much more... Thank you, thank you... thank you po talaga.

Lord thank you for the wonderful internship. Thank you for making me work with such a wonderful company. Though there were times that I wanted to give up, though there were a few people (supervisors) who I couldn't help but hate, I still thank you for making me go through them all. I learned so much from them. Generally, I even enjoyed! I really really thank you Lord. And though I hate to admit it, it's kinda hard for me to leave the company after 7 more than months. I grew with them somehow & was able to develop some of the skills I never thought I had (like multi-tasking.. hihi). How can I forget, they were the very first people who threw me a surprise birthday party! I will forever remember, that I was once a part of SAP... the company who runs the best-run businesses! On behalf of my two PO6 sisters who worked with me there too, Lord, thank you so much! :*
