bluecrush0515
Sam's Letters to Jennifer. I stumbled upon this last night at Fully Booked. It's by James Patterson, the same guy who wrote Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas. How can James Patterson write all those thrillers and still manage to write romantically? Expressions like "as fragile as a dream" and "bounded to the moon" made me all dreamy today. I'm on page 70. It's an easy read. Will surely finish it soon. Quote Link to comment
pedro hilaga
just finished da vinci code. it's rare for novels to sufficiently sustain my interest that i'll read it in one sitting, but this one's an exception. it's exceptional. medyo corny ang ending but the book is still better than most, including deception point. Fahfrd
Just finished Farnham's Freehold by Robert Heinlein. Very nice book, parang bitin but then usually ganun books ni Heinlein. He leaves you wanting more. His ideas are intriguing and I'll bet were very controversial when he wrote this book a few years ago. My next book is Might and Magic: The Sea of Mists by Mel Odom. Time for some Hack and Slash Fantasy and Mel Odom is a very good writer sa genre na ito. Quote Link to comment

The creator of the Thieves' World universe? I didn't know that he wrote comedy. Is that in the fantasy genre? Edited July 1, 2004 by Fahfrd Quote Link to comment
Victor Davion
Hmm, Robert Lynn Asprin, dude? The creator of the Thieve's World universe? I didn't know that he wrote comedy. Is that in the fantasy genre? He does write science fiction/fantasy comedy. You should check out Phule's company. He wrote the series and it is pretty funny. Quote Link to comment

session_kid
Last one was By The River Piedra I Sat Down And Wept by Paolo Coelho nice love story and interesting principles on life and love. But was a little too sappy and cheesy for me. For now, I'm battling The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera. Next would be the 1970s edition of Silmarilion I borrowed from a good Tolk-fellow. Quote Link to comment
