George72
It's been years na since I visited boracay, yun last ko, we stay in Fridays, station 1 sya, may pagka exclusive kasi nasa dulo na. Malayo lang nga sa mga activities but very relaxing pag nandun ka. Cottages ang mga rooms, hiwa hiwalay pa kaya d mainggay. Long walk to the market at mga souvenir shops, girls watching also. Haay kaka miss ang boracay, sana next year may time. Quote Link to comment
Yeo
Meron mga tabi tabi rooms diyan that go for 1500-2500 a night if you really want a budget stay. If you going to swim, eat, dive the whole day I recommend these types of rooms. Some are between Station 2 and 3 (beachfront) just keep an eye out Quote Link to comment
Heatsink
I've been here for a couple of times and I always stay at sand castles beach front, lapit lang sa d'mall but yung recent ko na punta madaming parang sand shield ba tawag dun yung mga kawayan na may lambat kasi malakas ang hangin. Can't wait to go back to bora. Quote Link to comment

Mango Man
hi iskha, firstly, sana yung flight niyo is Manila to Caticlan na, to eliminate that 2-hour van ride from Kalibo to Caticlan. Parusa talaga yung ride na yan! re where to go, daming bars at Station 2, and also lots of restos as well, it would be a good idea to try restos that are only in Boracay, such as Real Coffee, etc., rather than eating at fastfood chains. have fun!! My friends and I are going there next year. From Feb 20-22. From Kalibo un flight namin. ANy idea where to go? First time ko po eh. Im so excited na! Quote Link to comment

jerpau
Hi there, 2 hours po ba talaga yung Kalibo to Caticlan? Just want to make sure. hindi po totoong 2 hours yung byahe..baka po yung nasakyan nyong L3 e patigil tigil dahil sa mga pasahero na binababa at sinasakay on the way..saka depende din yan kung trafic sa kalibo proper at dun sa numancia(di ko alam kung malalaman nyo kung san to)pwede 1 hour nandun kna sa caticlan..depende talga yan sa driver.. Mango Man
hi Darien, more or less two hours, pero its not so much the length of time that is annoying. It's how they cram so many passengers into the van, not comfortable. Quote Link to comment

It's how they cram so many passengers into the van, not comfortable. Really? Is there an option to rent out a van or a shuttle service that will not cram as many passengers as possible? And just how reliable is the info here and here? Edited December 26, 2010 by Darien Faust Quote Link to comment
tsard
more than 1 hour lang ang byahe from kalibo to caticlan sir..pero totoong siksikan kayo sa van pag byahe kasi talagang kailangan eh puno ng pasahero ang van bago bumiyahe..hindi talaga kumportable pag ganun..meron namang pwedeng arkilahin na van para hindi siksikan, pero ang alam ko eh mas mahal ang bayad... nakanantutz
We took a 5 day trip on Boracay Island - Philippines. We booked a snorkeling trip with TicketNPost http://www.ticketnpost.com Unfortunately due to my hectic schedule I had to cut the snorkeling trip in half in order to get back in time to my flight on my Canadian Tour. We had a GREAT time despite taking the shorter tour. We still were able to see a big part of the reef and swam with sting rays in "sting ray alley" Our tour guide was AWESOME! He made sure we saw plenty and still had us back in time! Plus, TicketNPost refunded us for the difference in prices between the longer and shorter trips! Nothing but great things to say about this outfitter company! We'll be sure to book again! Quote Link to comment
