Metz Posted October 29, 2007 Share Posted October 29, 2007 next week .. colts vs pats ...... battle of unbeatens ..... i just hope we could even watch the replay for this game...<_< anyway, i found it wierd rooting a team to win but wanting them to give up a TD to an opposing player just because that player is in my fNFL league roster... it was like going back and forth with "sh*t!" and "yeah!" all evening long for me... another thing is, i could only smile at my losses when i put a player in the waivers and right then he breaks out and give a performance of the season (ie. Â If you're up 35-nil with the game out of freakin' reach, bench your starters for crying out loud. Â There's nothing more classless than rubbing the salt into the wound. Â The Pats only humiliated themselves by again, stooping to that level. Â It's almost like beating up a midget---it's fun for like 15 seconds but knowing that you're going to win anyway regardless of what kind of struggle the little guy provides just sucks the whole fun out of winning. So why beat the crap out of the dude when one blackeye would do? Â It cheapens the game, it undermines the purpose of competition. Â I'm really disappointed in those Pats. Â They've had this winning tradition going on for quite a while, you'd think they'd have the "conduct yourself like a champion" thing down by now. Â Just my 2 cents anyway.
