Sa dalawa, mas gusto ko ang Wolfgang. Mas malalim kasi sila tsaka mas metal-ish sila. Yung Razorback kasi parang puro "yosi-toma" ang theme ng mga kanta.

 

Manuel Legarda of Wolfgang has a new band called DRT (pronouned as Dirt) and they performed in MYX's Bandarito sometime back. The band's singer is Jay Ortega whom you may remember as the signer of Gnash back in the '90s.

Saan ba based Lokomotiv? For me malupit Razorback! Kahit sino mag guitara kina David and Tirso wala pa din sablay. But i've seen POT and Wolfgang back to back over at Mayrics way back. That gig was the best! La pa akong napupuntahan na kaya itop yun. You can just see fellow pinoy rock enthusiast enjoying the music. :thumbsupsmiley:

I was watching Wolfgang.. even before they got popular.. (mostly at the Atrium, in Makati).. wala ngang mga tao sa mga gigs nila eh.. Until they released their first album..

 

I like Wolfgang than Razorback.. because they write great songs.. Yung "Mata ng Diyos" talagang Black Sabbath ang dating eh.. ang Razorback kasi more of pinoy rock ang mga tema.. ala Juan Dela Cruz.. kungsabagay they had a song "Pepe the Hepe" which was really a some sort of a tribute for Pepe Smith..

 

The last cocert I watched of Wolfgang was in Marikina (Riverbanks).. I forgot the place.. around 2001 nun.. Grabe! Hindi na metal ang uso noon kaya kitang-kita mo sa mukha nila na alam nila na yung crowd eh hindi alam mga kanta nila.. siguro 2 tables lang ang may alam ng mga kanta nila.. I had Basti sign some of my albums.. sabi niya sa akin.. "Pare, thanks for coming.. this would be our last concert for the year (it was Dec then).." Kaso after nun parang disbanded na sila eh.. Black Mantra was already released at that time..

 

My fave song of Wofgang is "Atomica.." With Razorback I like "Tabi ng Bulkan.."

I think sa California. Not sure though. Its with Wolf, David Aguirre, Basti and i forgot the name of the bassist. I heard 2 tracks from them, got it from Kazaa and its galing man! :cool: Medyo malayo sya sa side project na BrainSalad. Anyway Karl Roy is still the man during the POT days :cool:
