As long as the sex worker is clean, there should be no problem. Some people also just don't want social relationships/connections

I think this type of work also caters to and exploits guys who are simply lonely (present company included). I often say that I pay for an hour of company...sex is a bonus part of that. Sex work, at least from my perspective, is a way of fighting loneliness.

Sex work is essential, it gives lonely people real connection (even when it’s part of the act) and flips the script for those locked out of traditional jobs. Raw emotional labor turned hustle, ending not with a hug but a paycheck. It's the stigma that makes it unsafe.

This topic will forever be on a gray area as long as people here in the Philippines is comprised of religious and self-righteous individuals. Sex work could be regulated by a government body to ensure that everyone involved is clean and mitigate the risk of spreading unnecessary diseases. A plus as well for economic side - maybe it’s the answer for rapid impoverishing of people lol.
