Happiness can be equated to satisfaction. When things are to your liking then you feel happy. So the lower you set your expectations on everything, the higher the chance you will find happiness every now and then. Lower your expectations (DON'T be too much of a pessimist or cynical though) today and I assure you, things will get better.

One form (with steps) of Happiness is:

 

1. Waking up in the morning

2. Waking up in the morning beside your very significant other (still imagining, wishing and hoping for the very significant other part)

3. Enjoying a good cup of coffee, rain or shine, with that very significant other.

4. Repeat from step one (this already includes being happy you have a job and a roof over your head) :D
