Duterte's Presidency : Expectations, Controversies, Rants, Etc.

james cutter and rooster69ph, nandito pa rin pala kayo at nagtatalo pa rin? Hahahahaha.

Anyway, good call on declaring Martial Law. Atleast he's decisive on his actions and doesn't wait for his advisers to "think" of other reactions. And kaya mas napansin tong Martial Law ni Duterte compared dun kay Arroyo is: 1. Mas mabilis nakita ng taumbayan yung mga pinatay compared ngayon, 2. Maguindanao lang ang sakop nung declaration, and not the whole island of Mindanao; and 3. Duterte has always hinted on declaring Martial Law and/or that Marcos is a good president. So yun.

juan t is rooster69ph?

Anyway, yes, I agree with Duterte's call on Martial Law. He's nipping the situation in the bud.

That I don't know.. Hahaha

Those critics don't even suggest a "better" response to the crisis. For me it's just fight fire with fire. Those scumbags don't negotiate, so why think of negotiating, right?

Think about this:

Remember the Zamboanga siege? They accused Enrile of funding Nur Misuari and MNLF to terrorize Zamboanga to divert the public attention away from the PDAF investigation vs Enrile et al?

Now that Mar Roxas and Pnoy will be investigated by the Senate for DAP and MRT fraud, how far fetched would it be that the LP-Yellows are behind this Maute attack in Marawi?

And now there are intelligence reports that the NPA are also planning to launch their own terror attacks in the south. Coincidence?

Duterte's Philippines Is The 10th Fastest Growing Economy In The World

President Rodrigo Duterte’s death squads may have killed democracy in the Philippines, but they haven’t killed the country’s vibrant economy, which is the world’s 10th fastest growing economy in the world in 2017.

That’s according to the World Bank’s latest edition of Global Economic Prospects. For 2017, Philippines’ economy is expected to advance between 6.5 to 7.5 percent. That’s almost twice the country’s long-term growth.

GDP Annual Growth Rate in Philippines averaged 3.68 percent from 1982 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 12.40 percent in the fourth quarter of 1988 and a record low of -11.10 percent in the first quarter of 1985, according to Tradingeconomics.com.

Duterte's presidency? A copycat of Marcos. Albeit raw version. Very raw indeed

With Marcos, ILocos were paradise. With Duterte, Davao will be paradise.

The question is, will Digong survive his entire term?

Bong Bong Marcos will have to pay, pay, pay those SC justices in order to get, get, get that VP post

LTO starts releasing 5-year-valid driver’s licenses by August

http://news.mb.com.ph/2017/06/23/lto-starts-releasing-5-year-valid-drivers-licenses-by-august/

This was announced by Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade at the Manila Bulletin “Hot Seat” Thursday.

Tugade said they are releasing the five-year-valid license cards to three million drivers who applied for new and renewed identification cards since October 17 last year.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) said the agency is now in the process of printing the cards that are made more durable from polycarbonate plastic and have improved security features.

The agency on April 3 has awarded the P830-million procurement of the five-year license cards to the DERMALOG Identification Systems-CFP Strategic Transaction advisors-NEXTIX Inc. consortium to supply six million ID cards.

The supply would suffice demands for driver’s license until 2018, said the LTO.

^^^ Gravely ill? Tatad is out of touch with reality.

Let's compare the first year of Abnoy vs. the first year of Digong:

post-206207-0-19015200-1499003084_thumb.jpg

The figures show the incompetence and ineptitude of the amateurish administration under Abnoy.

Duterte is on the right track in his economic program, planned by much more competent economic managers led by Diokno.

The yellow media is giving too much emphasis on the so-called human-rights violations, and the violence in Marawi which , on the grand scheme of things are just noisy distractions.

The reality is,

  1. the majority of the people support Duterte's war on drugs and his handling of the Marawi situation.
  2. the war on drugs and the Marawi siege do not have negative effect on the economy, and our economic growth projections remains unchanged at 6.5% to 7% and continuous to be one of the most robust in Asia.

Trillanes ano ngang sabi mo ulit tungkol sa ratings ni Digong dun sa interview mo sa BBC????

Sabi ni Trollanes, babagsak daw ang satisfaction rating ni Digong in the coming months once they disseminate the truth to the people about this President's failures in governance.

I think Du30's rating just shot up recently in the SWS Satisfaction survey.

Anyare???

Trillanes is just hoping na bumaba ratings ni Du30. Well keep hoping and dreaming. Lalo na ngayon na naguumpisa na yung mga infra projects niya until the end of his term.

Wala namang bago kay Trillanes. They've (Liberal Party) been disseminating the "truth" for months now and mataas pa rin ang approval ratings ni PDU30. Kahol lang ng kahol yan kasi hindi nila kapartido. Never kong narinig yan during scandals at kapalpakan ng mga kapartido niya during the Aquino Administration.

Hindi man seryoso si President Duts na humawak ng baril at makipag barilan sa Terrorista (na katulad ni Michael Douglas sa movie na Independence Day) , by wearing thw camouflage uniform would surely uplift the spirit of his men in the front line.

Galing sa psywar ni Duts.

On lighter note; ang kulet talaga! Nag camouflage na, mag Mamarawi pa! Kulet talaga ng mga matatanda..hehehe

Its more of a morale support for the troops. Personally natatagalan na ako sa Mrawi crisis to end.

On other note, di ko alam na nasa ID4 pala si Michael Douglas. :)

Ay sorry! The American President pala yung nasa isip ko. Hahaha!

Si Bill Pullman!

Sensya na. Hehe.

Anyways, tagal ba?

I have no knowledge of combat operations, pero in other places took more than that to neutralize the terrorist.
