Just two points:

 

1. Time will tell. The longer you stay with the individual, the better you will know. There's no particular time limit, but the longer the time frame is, the better is the knowledge.

 

2. Easy come easy go. This is the opposite side of the spectrum of No. 1 above. The faster you forget about the person you separate with, the less love there is. (Hardly perhaps there was any.) The longer it takes to forget him/her, the better you know your love for him/her was true!

...when you call overseas cops (korean police department) to check if shes fine (phone was dead for 3 days)...
