The film begins with Mordo hunting Wanda. He has the Magic bow to kill him. But in the end Wanda beheaded Mordo.

Then the scene moves to a universe somewhere in the multiverse, where America Chavez, Wong and the classic variant Strange are being chased by an interdimensional demon-like figure. Strange who wants to absorb their power, while they are looking for a book that has a spell to defeat any evil power. Variant Strange and Wong are killed, America Chavez retrieves their corpses before moving across the multiverse to the MCU's main timeline in New York..

Doctor Strange and Wong attend Christine Palmer's wedding, At the same time the Gargantos attack New York and try to attack America Chavez. Gargantos appears due to being summoned by Wanda through Darkhold, Doctor Strange and Wong fight against Gargantos, because he destroys a car and there are people in it. Wong and Doctor Strange can beat Gargantos by ripping out his eyes. This is where Doctor Strange and Wong met Chavez, and he showed the bodies of the two variants Wong and Strange in an alley.

Then the three of them went to a pizza restaurant. Chavez is always looking for pizza when he enters the universe. While eating pizza, Strange said he had nightmares about his death with Wong, there Chavez explains that Strange's dream is a real event in the multiverse. Chavez says every time she move across universe, someone always chases him to take his power.

Then Wanda tries to track down America Chavez and ends up threatening Strange and Wong, and they take America Chavez to the Kamar Taj to protect her. There we see the presence of Rintrah in the form of a Minotaur, unfortunately it is Wanda who appears in the Kamar Taj and kills many people there. Wanda was able to catch Wong but Strange and Chavez managed to escape by moving around the Universe to avoid Wanda's pursuit.

Here Wanda uses her astral projection power to travel between universes, but doesn't use her real body to the fullest. Doctor Strange and America Chavez moved around the universe, they both met a universe full of zombies and one full of Iron Legion (a kind of Ultron's Bot) but Wanda destroyed all the Iron Legion she saw.

Then Doctor Strange and America Chavez arrived in the universe, where Doctor Strange sacrificed himself to defeat Thanos. Doctor Strange and America Chavez went to the Sanctum Santorum then there Mordo turned out to be the Variant Sorcerer Supreme in this universe. Mordo slyly poisons Doctor Strange and America Chavez, then America Chavez is put in prison and Doctor Strange is brought to the Illuminati by the Iron Legion.

This multiverse Illuminati team consists of Monica Rambeau, Captain Carter, Balder Odinson and Professor Charles Xavier as the leader of this team.

The Illuminati are debating whether to kill Strange or not because he broke the rules by breaking through to other dimensions in the multiverse, but Strange tries to warn them of Wanda's arrival.

Now changing the scene where in the Illuminati universe, with his children. They are having fun. But the atmosphere ends when the evil Wanda from the main timeline comes to chase Chavez by projecting herself in astral form to possess Wanda in this universe, Wanda becomes very scary. The twins become confused and scared as their transformed mother and Wanda prepare to leave to attack the Illuminati. Balder says that Wanda is no match for the Illuminati, in the end and again Wanda made a quick move and attacked Balder until he was stabbed.

The big battle begins between Wanda and Professor Xavier who was in his floating wheelchair. Monica and Captain Carter are defeated and thrown destroying statues and walls. Professor Xavier tells Strange about what is controlling Wanda.

While the fight was going on, Clea who was a variant of Christine Palmer freed Chavez from prison.

Xavier enters Wanda's variant mind and tries to free her mind from MCU Wanda. Xavier also tries to contact Wanda's MCU and help her wake up but before that works, Professor Xavier is killed by Wanda by breaking his neck. Meanwhile Strange had a fight with Mordo, and Strange defeated him. Now Strange meets with Clea and Chavez in the dungeons of the Sanctum Santorum. Then Wanda arrived with a scary look and tried to attack them until they reached the locked door

Clea can open it with the help of her bracelet. This door opens to the multiverse because they are looking to hide other Darkhold. But before that happens, Wanda grabs Chavez and throws Strange into another universe where New York City has been destroyed and here lives the figure of Defender Strange who looks like Strange Supreme in the Dark Sanctum. He agreed to help just to absorb Wanda's power. Wanda came and she was too strong, they retreat to Kamar Taj and create a magic barrier to prevent Wanda from entering. Wanda manages to enter the mind of a new weak wizard and destroys the barrier magic then kills 90% of the magicians in the Kamar Taj.

Wanda is now in Kamar Taj with Chavez. A witch sacrificed herself to destroy Darkhold so Wanda couldn't do anything about it. Wanda then threatens Wong to tell him where another Darkhold is, if not notified, then Wanda will destroy all extensions in the multiverse. Wong told him that another Darkhold was in the high mountains and his place was unknown, and Wanda absorbed Chavez's power and went with her to a place where Darkhold still existed. They went to the castle building inside and there was a painting of the demon creator of Darkhold on the wall. With America Chavez and Darkhold's powers together, Wanda can now multiverse hop her physical self to her children and trying to bring her children to the main universe in the MCU after defeating Wanda in this universe.

While this is happening Doctor Strange is confronting his evil self, Doctor Strange vs. Defender Strange. Strange defeats the Strange version of himself being thrown out the window and impaled by a fence.

Doctor Strange thinks that the only way he can save Chavez is by performing astral projection and possessing the corpse of a variant of himself that resides in the main universe. The idea worked, but this version of Doctor Strange is like a zombie and we see few survivors in the Kamar Taj.

Rintrah encourages Wong to keep fighting, so they travel to Darkhold's castle. When they travel there, Wong cannot enter the castle due to being bounced out, but Wong uses magic to save himself.

Then comes the final battle.

Doctor Strange while in a universe where New York City has been destroyed, need to save Chavez from Wanda in the Darkhold castle. Doctor Strange's astral entering his dead self so he could whisper into Chavez ear. This helps Chavez to control the power of his multiverse, Chavez and Wanda continue to fight while switching universes.

At the end of the film Wanda finally got her children, but Wanda's face is very messy and looks like a zombie. When she saw her children start to cry, she realized that the children were frightened, Wanda managed to release the Darkhold's influence. It's unclear what happened to Wanda but it looks like she's still living in the ruins.

Doctor Strange talks to America Chavez and is happy to have been saved by Strange. Chavez asks Strange and Wong to train their powers.

Billy and Tommy eventually become adults and they appear at the end of the film.

There are at least 5 universes involved in this film and some other universes are very strange and countless because the scenes are too fast, so there really are a lot of universes. The main illuminati universe was badly damaged and the New York Iron Legion universe. The gloomy ending scene like at the end of the Loki series and Darkhold's castle, apparently also exists in the main universe in the high mountains whose location is unknown.

The post credits scene shows Doctor Strange becoming corrupt and having a third eye appear on his forehead, but Clea comes to him for help.
