sickness
Ocean's 13: Al Pacino has signed on to join the cast as the heavy, Willie Banks, a wealthy hotelier in Las Vegas. Sort of like the Andy Garcia character in the original film but a lot better. Filming on OCEAN'S 13 begins this July back in Vegas after taking the second installment overseas. Also joining the film will be Ellen Barkin who fills in for Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones, neither of whom will be returning. Also rumored to be joining the cast is Sacha Baron Cohen ("Ali G") but that has yet to be confirmed. Steven Soderbergh will again direct with Brian Koppelman and David Levien writing the script. sickness
Marvel movie line-up: Marvel Studios announced today that Jon Favreau has signed on to direct and co-write a new version of IRON MAN. Favreau's version, which will be Marvel's "top priority," will retain the assistance of writers Arthur Marcum and Matt Hollaway to work with Favreau on an entirely new draft. The project, previously set up at New Line, has found a new home at Paramount where Marvel has many of its other upcoming films set up. In addition to Favreau on IRON MAN, Marvel also released some more information on some of their other high-profile projects. Zak Penn (X3) is writing the script for HULK 2, David Self (ROAD TO PERDITION) is writing CAPTAIN AMERICA, Mark Protosevich is writing THOR and Andrew Marlowe (AIR FORCE ONE) is writing NICK FURY.
