Gusto po sana humingi ng advice
5 years napo akong walang trabaho
pero may experience nako sa callcenter ng dalawang taon after naggraduate
pero after magsara yung account namen
eh nawalan ako ng drive maghanap ng work nagkaroon ako ng depression
during five years nagkaroon ako ng mga
project nang pagdesign ng website posters
at avp kaso mga volunteer work lang sa church
still living with my mother
and now gustong gusto ko na ulet bumalik ng trabaho kaso natatakot ako sa pageexplain ng 5 years employment gap ko
kase wala naman ako mapapakita na porfolio kase nga volunteer work lang
may pagasa pa ba ako mahire ulet
im planning to go back in call center
im 37 y/o pls advice

Just be honest about what has transpired in the 5 years of non-employment. You can claim the volunteer work naman as experience. An alternative is to look for freelance jobs, maybe that is more your cup of tea.

Hi, I work in HR and I think you can sill be hired. You say 37 ka na with 2 years experience from call center? how about other years after college/High school. You can be honest enough about your 5 year hiatus but I suggest don't mention much about "depression" since it could be taken negatively against you (honestly speaking). You can say that you have devoted your time on volunteering ad you have found it to be fulfilling and decided to return back to work because you need to support your expenses now. Just be prepared to take lower level jobs (if you are that willing to return to the industry and taking into consideration your age -- no offense meant) and be secure enough to go head to head with younger candidates.
