boibastos
LAkers just won over DH's Rockets Bout damn time that Howard won a game for us. Quote Link to comment
boibastos
I don't know why, despite having so many superstars and highly paid players in the team, they still have more losses than wins. Mysterious! 5 reasons why: 1. Gasol plays like a 40 year old. 2. Nash IS actually 40. 3. Kobe is still broken. 4. Someone REALLY has to tell Nick Young that he's not Kobe.5. Most teams can't be fooled with D'antoni's who-are-those-guys-anyway? offense. It's a miracle that we have 3 wins at this point. When the rest of the NBA figures out that the Lakers are just Pau, 1/3 of Steve Nash and a bunch of guys who are just happy to be chucking random 3-pointers and to be in a NBA roster, it's going to get brutal. boibastos
It's so frustrating to watch Pau Gasol play these days. I subscribed to NBA League pass on my phone so I can watch the games all the time. Hope Kobe returns soon. Maybe he can inject some passion into Pau. Guy looks lost out there. Kobe can inject whatever he wants inside Pau and he still going to be slow, out of sync, and at times disinterested. The man is clearly done, he's been that way for the past 3 seasons. Unfortunately, Pau's still also clearly better than most of the Lakers we have on the court at any given time. Quote Link to comment
fatchubs
Just my opinion ... NASH is not even 1/2 of the "Nash" the Lakers expects him to be when they signed him. I wonder if there are any other teams interested. Better trade him and save on $$$ and more cap space for next season. 3 Quote Link to comment

Richmond
5 losses for the Lakers this season 3 of them by more than 20 points. Quote Link to comment
boibastos
W against the Pelicans. I didn't know we were capable of blowing teams out. Then again, it's the Pelicans. Quote Link to comment
fatchubs
talo na naman today sa Denver. Am really puzzled by D' Antoni's coaching. It seems hindi niya makuha un hinahanap niyang combination (kung may hinahanap nga). Since the start of the season he had various tweaks in the starting line-up. 2 Quote Link to comment

TidusJanus
Jordan Hill, Jodie Meeks and Steve Blake - all bright spots. Jordan Hill is so good rebounding the ball. He puts Pau to shame. haha I agree, Pau is done at this point. Walang kagana-gana maglaro. He just stays around the perimeter area and he tries to be a point guard by looking to pass to the other big man on the floor. Aggressiveness is way, way lacking. He probably still has the passion but like Nash, his body isn't capable of doing what his mind wants. Oh well...nothing much to complain about naman about this Lakers team. I have the lowest expectation for this team. Any win is equivalent to a "surpassing expectations" kind of feeling. haha Quote Link to comment
babae17
I don't think Pau's performance recently is as much about age as it is about being acclimated with his new teammates Quote Link to comment
TidusJanus
^ have to disagree on that. If you watch the games, when he rebounds, he jogs back rather than run back to the offense. His post up moves are always negated by the opposing big man's d. Madalas na bablock! Walang hop to elevate a little and get it out of the opponent's reach. instead, suking suki siya sa blocks. Jordan Hill has more heart than Pau right now. Quote Link to comment
fatchubs
I still think Pau has the heart ... although he probably does not have the "energy" that Hill is showing now. Could be the age. Being a player with an expiring contract, am pretty sure Pau knows he got to have a good season to boost his stock otherwise he got to accept a huge paycut either in LA or elsewhere. 2 Quote Link to comment
sleekee
seriously guys, do you think kobe will be productive when he gets back? i hope he gets back to an all star level coz it's a good story line but i doubt that's gonna happen. Quote Link to comment
