the team is a work in progress. you don't expect a team to make a complete turn around in a matter of months. I am a patient fan. I waited from 88 to 2000 for the lakers to win another trophy. I can wait another 12 years or more if need be.

Luke will not turn the Lakers overnight. There will be growth pains. But I love the fact that Luke was a Laker during his playing career. He knows the expectations, the bright lights and the championship culture. Now Mitch needs to give him a competitive roster and try to lure some of the top free agents and we'll be back in the playoffs in 2-3 years.
