Cap™
not always make isolation play with Williams.. I think that's where Lou Williams dominates: the fact that he could create and play the 1 or the 2. Thing is, he shouldn't given that there are other volume shooters in the team, even on the bench with Swaggy P Quote Link to comment

Cap™
Between the Nets, Sixers, Pelicans and Kings, that are on the bottom of the standings with the Lakers who is the worst of them all? I'd say the Nets because they don't have any future pieces in place Quote Link to comment
Guiness
With the way the Lakers are going I'll be surprised if they manage to win 20 games. This team definitely won't make the playoffs. I feel sorry for Kobe, he has too much pride to admit that in his last year if this is really going to be his last year. He won't be able to compete for that 6th chip that he is chasing in order to match MJ's chips. He should drop that pride of his and ask for a trade to a contender. The Lakers will respect that decision I'm sure and won't hold it against him if he wants to play for a contending team. It's not like he didn't give the Lakers 5 championships. The guy is a not even a shell of his former self. Quote Link to comment
darksoulriver
nice win against the Pistons much better if Kobe will be the facilitator not always the shooter. again using Nance Jr over Kelly is a big factor Quote Link to comment
darksoulriver
too tired... and tooooo many unforced TURNOVERS! Quote Link to comment
Tommy Haverford
Here are my takeways from the game tonight - Metta was getting hot, but guess what? Byron still took him out of the game. - He's still limiting Russell's minutes. Why can't he just give him 30+mins, like what he did with Kyrie and CP3 when they were rookies? And to think that he even said that he still would've gave an old, and banged-up Kobe Bryant more than 35+ minutes per game. Sigh, take the old legs out and put the fresh legs in (ehem, Russell) It's like he's been treating our 2nd overall pick as a 2nd round pick. - Too many ISO plays. Too many turnovers. - Stop putting in Lou and Swaggy together, they're basically, the same player. They both need the ball in their hands to be effective. - The only thing that he's been doing so far that I liked was giving Nance minutes. Quote Link to comment

Guiness
This rumor might put some life into Laker nation http://en.yibada.com/articles/86426/20151118/lakers-rumors-kevin-love-russell-westbrook-reunion-los-angeles-speculated.htm according to an ESPN columnist. There are rumors abound that Kevin Love might be traded to the Lakers. Even if Love is signed an extension and is having a more active role in the offense. Cleveland fans aren't sold on him for the long haul. As they feel that Lebron fits better at the 4 since the Cavs match up better with teams who play small plus he can defend, something that Love is a liability at. Not to mention that since they paid top dollar for Tristan Thompson who they feel is also a better compliment to Lebron, Kevin Love is the odd man out. Being traded to the Lakers is not far fetched. The Lakers will want to trade Julius Randle along with Hibbert's expiring contract will land them Love. Another reason for Kevin Love wanting to play in LA is the possibility of landing Russell Westbrook when he becomes available for Free Agency. Some are saying if OKC fails to get to the finals, Durant will leave OKC since his contract is up after the season, with Westbrook following suit. The reason why Westbrook and Love are being mentioned together is they both played for the UCLA Bruins and are pretty good friends. Having a reunion back home and playing for one of the storied teams of the NBA the Lakers will be a great one two punch and get the Lakers back in contention again Quote Link to comment
