Yes. That is the standard rate for a booking. The DI will sit with you at your table and will dance with you exclusively for the entire night. An alternative is to go to a dance place and dance with any of the roving in-house DI. They won't sit with you at your table and they will dance with the other guests too. You can dance with a single DI a number of times. The tip varies from Php 200.00 to 500.00 depending on the number of times you dance with him/her.

ballroom lang alam ko, swing, chachacha, tango, waltz, jive etc. hindi ko alam yung mga jazz or modern dance ( anyways its fun and you get to know your partners so friendly talaga. its bad na wala ako masyado time puro work, pero once in a while masarap magkalat sa dance floor hehe

as much as possible i do dance workout once a week either in the gym (part of the sked/prog) or with a friend group (after ofc dance workout in thier ofc)

 

i really dont care what exactly type of dance that i dance

as long as i can dance it and the steps is something that i can follow..im cool with it

 

and i dance caring less of others.. i dance to my heart content :thumbsupsmiley:

Would you know where I could find DIs who I could book exclusively? I know how to dance a little, I'd want a DI who's good company too.

i used to do street dance classes at gold's gym galleria, aint sure kung meron pa ngayon since i've been out of the country for almost a year...

 

but if you have family members in the US, ask them to send you SHON T's hip hop abs work-out video.

i've been using it for the past two weeks and i find it a fun way to toning the body

me alam ba kayong school or place na nag-ooffer ng dance classes? yung mga pang-guys na sayaw. parang yung mga hiphop. yung mga sayaw ng umd dati. im thinking of learning how to dance. napapansin ko kasi yung mga guys na magaling sumayaw lapitin ng mga chicks. siguro the girls find them sexy.

used to be the greatest dancer...ever heard the song "he's the greatest dancer" by sister sledge? i think they made the song after seeing me on the dancefloor! haha. oh well, that was back then. from metalic gigolo, punk rock, funk, funk jazz, strut, pop-lock, breakdance, swing, west coast swing, cha-cha, hustle, reggae...from saturday night fever till knapsacks. from the penthouse dancers till the tigers, from michael jackson till jerry dignum... geez, im getting tired just by naming them, shows that i cant do them anymore nowadays haha. keep the music on, and keep on dancing people...kudos.
