What would make students study harder?

Filipinos are not lazy. People are.

 

But I think as a teacher you need to open their eyes first. Get to know them their WHY.

 

Once they know why they are doing it and it is possible. they will never stop.

less theory, more practice. seriously. most people who succeed in school only use 20-30% of what they read and studied, and in like 10 or so yrs some of the things they studied become invalid. accountants no longer use the yellow bookkeeping charts, nurses and doctors can no longer trust older methods, teachers no longer use manila paper, etc.

Show them what happens when they don't study hard (ex you get stuck in a job you will probably hate and does not pay well.)
