Paranaque has fared infinitely better now, with lots of road improvements immediately after Bernabe's election, and all the way up till this election. he's not exactly low-key, but he has managed to earn my respect by working on infrastructure and at the most unexpected time, immediately after his election, as opposed to building everything in his name and painting his name on every wall just like past mayors.. he hasnt turned Paranaque into a veritable nameplate, just like Olivarez did before. and he's very accessible to his constituents, unlike Marquez who seemed to only be present during elections, events, or at Starfleet or AirForce 1. i am quite surprised to say, that i happen to like our current mayor's track record so far. dickee Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 for me, SB has set the standards in how a city should be run. from a "mismanaged" city during the term of his predecessor, he was able to make quezon city one of the best emerging cities in asia and in the world. personally, i still would pick SB if he runs for re-election. the sad thing though is he is on his way out. now that the campaign has started, we in QC are left with five mayoralty hopefuls that i doubt would match SB's track record and performance. kaya nga kung si mike defensor lang naman ang magiging mayor ng quezon city, boykot na lang siguro ako. ninakawan na nyan ang kaban ng pilipinas, di pa nakuntento at ang kaban naman ng QC ang inaasinta nya! :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: Korek ka dyan!
