if you were to ask me, i'll go for #1. The grey dial blends well with the stainless steel part of the jubilee bracelet. it's more uniform to look at having only 2 colors on your watch. Have you noticed mine has the grey dial also (previously posted image)? ;)

I did'nt know anything about watches until I came across this thread. Mr. Ang, after reading your posts, I have learned a lot from you. You are a walking database(parang grade school lang si Ernie Baron sa iyo). It so happen mahilig din ako sa food kaya I read the Food thread. Very ggod Mr. Ang Keep posting and I'll keep reading. BTW what's your take on BVLGARI timepieces?

lots of pre-owned watches being sold at bidshot and buyandsell.  looks like tuition has taken front seat

what do you guys think about this one? its baume and mercier capeland something something  :P .

been eyeing this one for some time now. is it any good?

it is part of richemont group which also carries jaeger, a.lange, vacheron, cartier, panerai, iwc, piaget. these brands are mostly carried by lucerne, which makes them quite expensive specially when it comes to parts and repair. a single link in an iwc 3706 fliegerchrono costs around 6k. go figure.

more popular models were riviera, a dodecagonal watch and catwalk for ladies.

automatic movement capeland date, 200m wr, 41 mm, looks nice if you have big wrists

you might want these:

my own personal opinion. i dont go that much for watches with designer brands which makes a part of the integral name. for instance, a watch designer would most likely design watches with their other lines like jewellry or clothing in mind. bvlgari, like cartier and is one of those 'houses' which create jewelry, accesories and watches. except for omega, which has its own bijoux jewelry line but concentrates on its watches' designs, most watch afficionados prefer brands like rolex, iwc, patek, breitling, and the less expensive but technically artful oris. you dont see rolex eyewear or patek neckties. but dont get me wrong, bvlgari makes nice timepieces. its just a matter of preference, just like how many watch lovers prefer the accuracy and craftsmanship of mechanical watches over quartz movements.

Boss Atong, any update if you've had the face changed? Where did you have it done - Rolex center in Makati?

Aside from the Rolex Center, are there other places that can service with warranty?
