KareemJabbar
Eh di may balak si MVP na maging part owner ng Sac Kings? May nabasa ako pumunta si MVP sa America para ayusin ang negotiation ah, ano na kaya ang nangyari dun. Dun nila sila makipag tune up sa Sacramento Kings. Pero All-Stars ng NBA? Kevin Durant at Derrick Rose pa ang gusto, ambisyoso. Quote Link to comment

Agent_mulder
how about this: SBP to arrange series of tune up games for Smart Gilas against selection of NBA players. "An SBP insider said team officials are coordinating with former Sacramento Kings great Chris Webber to bring reigning NBA MVP Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls, Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant and slam dunk champion Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers to Manila for a series of games. Also being mentioned as possible participants in the tune-up games are Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Andre Iguodala of the Philadelphia 76ers, Mario Chalmers of the Miami Heat, and Tyreke Evans of the Sacramento Kings." http://interaksyon.com/article/6683/wounded-smart-gilas-nixes-europe-trip-in-talks-to-play-nba-selection --->gagastusan kaya ni MVP yan? o kukunin din ang bayad mula sa load at kuryente? Quote Link to comment
KareemJabbar
Quote Link to comment
Mango Man
Siguro to be more competitive, they should assemble a team of NBA benchwarmers (i.e. those who don't have guaranteed contracts for next season, 12th men on their teams, etc.). Para 60 points lang ang tambak! I think we should just focus on individual sports such as mga martial arts disciplines, billiards, boxing, etc. After all, since our country has little money, we will spend much less if one person wins an Olympic medal, vs. one team winning a medal. mas cost effective diba? khilua23
mukhang seryoso si MVP sa tune up game na gusto niya mangyari.. http://teampilipinas.info/2011/07/nba-all-stars-against-smart-gilas.html Quote Link to comment
RED2018
i dont think this is a good idea at all. Whether they can pull it off or not is another story but if our immediate goal is to pass the qualifiers in wuhan, playing an ALL STAR NBA teamis a futile attempt to get our boys ready. The style of play in the world's most expensive play for pay league is so much different than what we are preparing for, which is international style of play (think IRAN, CHINA, even SOUTH KOREA). I still think playing in europe will be better fit para maalis na sa systema ang one on one mentality ng mga players natin (aka mark caguioa). mangyayari lang if this plan pushes through is a freak show, palabas lang, parang pelikula. Now why on earth would we want that right?? MVP is still a businessman first sportsman second. + 1 Here: just a waste of time and money; it would be interesting to know what is coach toroman's thoughts on this... Quote Link to comment
jkruz
NBA Stars VS PBA? WOW!!! http://www.interaksyon.com/article/8300/kobe-durant-d-rose-to-play-against-smart-gilas-pba-selection Quote Link to comment
silentwater
+ 1 Here: just a waste of time and money; it would be interesting to know what is coach toroman's thoughts on this... sabi ni Toroman they will need all the practice game that they can play... aminin man natin na malaking publicity lang ang larong ito kung sakaling matuloy, di pa rin naman pedeng sabihin na waste of time lang to... basta makapag practice lang sila eh tulong na rin yun... at wag na nating i-argue na sana ginamit ang pera sa pagkuha ng mas naaangkop na team para makipagsanay sa gilas... hindi naman natin pera yun eh... pinoywritingfool
Ano ang match up of the game ninyo sa NBA vs Gilas match? I'm torn between JV Casio vs Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant vs Chris Tiu. Sa NBA vs PBA naman, Kevin Durant vs Marc Pingris. Quote Link to comment

I say that both these guys can't take on Kobe one-one-one, it'll be more like Kobe vs. Tiu and Lassiter and Kobe would still break their ankles and finish with a monstrous dunk over Douhit....
