Kaya they have decided to cancel their final tune-up games against Gilas yesterday. Iran would make it to the quarterfinals very easily without a strong Qatari line-up. Ang pinkamalakas na nilang kalaban niyan would be the Taiwanese. for sure na sa group A would be Lebanon and South Korea.. sana makatapat natin sa next round ay ung galing sa group C na japan or jordan ang pinakamalakas. Sure na Smart-Gilas sa 2nd round kasi Top 3 sa grupo nila ang kukunin. Sure na rin sa quarterfinals kasi Top 4 in the 2 2nd round groupings of 6 countries ang kukunin. Quarterfinals will be a knockout system kaya a lot depends on the luck of the draw. Pero mukhang kaya naman ng PH umabot sa semi-finals. At dito ngayon sa semi-finals masusubukan ang gilas ng PH, kung hanggang saan na ang narating nila sa loob ng tatlong taong pagsasanay. Good Luck! Quote Link to comment

rafael77 Posted September 14, 2011 Share Posted September 14, 2011 sayang! i really think ravena is ready for the olympic qualifier games. too bad timing is bad. i don't think ateneo will allow him at this stage. for parks, yes i think he should try the sea games first. baguio and tubid too will fit well with international games. na-limit lang masyado sa talk and text players ang smart gilas. and reliable shooters are what we badly need. they should really seriously start looking for one. in the mode of caidic and engeland. ranidel deocampo is shaping up to be one. sayang si ritualo. he's too much of a push-over to play in the international league. and his confidence level now is so low. maybe because bangko siya most of the time.
