Hontiveros is a Gilas reinforcement. I think that's part of the PBA agreement with Gilas.

I totally agree pero Parks and Ravena siguro pang SEA Games muna sila the fact that they ar yet to mature eh for sure hindi pa yan papayagan ng mga mother teams nila na magfull-time. Sana si Slaughter last season na sa Ateneo para dalawa na sila ni Aldrech na makakatulong ni Douthit sa ilalim.

Sept 15 PH vs. UAE; Sept. 16 PH vs. China; Sept. 17 PH vs. Bahrain. Sure na Smart-Gilas sa 2nd round kasi Top 3 sa grupo nila ang kukunin. Sure na rin sa quarterfinals kasi Top 4 in the 2 2nd round groupings of 6 countries ang kukunin.

 

Quarterfinals will be a knockout system kaya a lot depends on the luck of the draw. Pero mukhang kaya naman ng PH umabot sa semi-finals. At dito ngayon sa semi-finals masusubukan ang gilas ng PH, kung hanggang saan na ang narating nila sa loob ng tatlong taong pagsasanay. Good Luck!

sayang! i really think ravena is ready for the olympic qualifier games. too bad timing is bad. i don't think ateneo will allow him at this stage. for parks, yes i think he should try the sea games first. baguio and tubid too will fit well with international games. na-limit lang masyado sa talk and text players ang smart gilas. and reliable shooters are what we badly need. they should really seriously start looking for one. in the mode of caidic and engeland. ranidel deocampo is shaping up to be one. sayang si ritualo. he's too much of a push-over to play in the international league. and his confidence level now is so low. maybe because bangko siya most of the time.

I believe in the willpower of these guys. The preparation they made was tremendous. We may have yet to see the full potential of this team.
