:goatee:

me and dive buddy arrived at leisure dive resort in anilao on sat 22aug2009, around 7am to start our shore dive sessions. however, there was a large dive boat waiting near the shore and they were loading food and tanks. the resort owner asked us if we would want to dive with the group. initially, they were 13 (including 2 instructors). they were going to puerto galera then do 3 dives as they go back to batangas. since i was short of cash (as we were just planning shore dives) the resort owner told me to just deposit the balance to her account. we were not really that excited as we have done galera, verde and a lot of sites in batangas already, but this dive group has more females than males, so i thought, what the heck let's go.

so we were 13 divers (7f and 6m) + 2 instructors. there were 3 (2f) aussies, 1f fr netherland (half german, half jamaican), 2(1f) chinese and 7(3f) of us filipinos.

to be honest, the 2 dives in galera weren't good. it's like diving in a washing machine with the current and visibility. you can't enjoy because your focus is how not to drift away with the current. the last dive in mainit point was good enough but visibility was still bad with a lot of particles in the water and sun already nearly setting in at 5pm.

although i'd rate it as among those at the bottom of my list, still any dive that you survive from, is always a good dive.

about the mermaids, the jamaican/german was tall, pretty and slim/sexy. the two other filipinas were also ok. the aussies were tall and pretty but kind of huge in the wrong places.

baka next week, mag conduct ng discovery scuba si dive buddy, so we'll do shore dives if the good weather holds long enough.

yes bro, i have your number and i'm definitely coming with you if i'm available. i might also bring along my dive buddy. if you like, i could invite the nice divers i went with in the past.

the reason why i like to bring my dive buddy along is that resort owners and dive boats don't require us to get their in-house 'dive guides' since he's a DM.

di naman sa pagmamagaling, minsan marunong pa tayo kesa sa dive guide nila. basta kumita lang ang resort, pati weights per pound pa minsan ang singil.

righty! kaya nga maaga ko pinost para ma clear na nila sched nila. maybe your DM friend can lead DSD sa mga gusto mag try.. we can help out para maenjoy lang nila.. ask him how much he charges if ever.. we'll try to make it affordable para dun sa mga susubok para maadik. hahaha

bro,

yung DM natin, free na DSD sa kanya basta free lang siya from costs (food, transpo, entrance & tanks). cool siya, he's not after the money. although we have to take into consideration that he can only do 4 dives a day. so we have to assist kung sobra sa 4/day ang DSD.

no prob siya sa sked, inform natin siyajust a week in advance if he's available.
