yung DM natin, free na DSD sa kanya basta free lang siya from costs (food, transpo, entrance & tanks). cool siya, he's not after the money. although we have to take into consideration that he can only do 4 dives a day. so we have to assist kung sobra sa 4/day ang DSD.

 

no prob siya sa sked, inform natin siyajust a week in advance if he's available.

yeah, it's stiff for non-divers, shelling around 600/head. when we did 2 shore dives and had 2 companions waiting for us, the only fees we paid for them were their breakfast and P100 resort fee per head (that's 250 per person)

 

if i'm to compare with my current dive rate (2 shore dives) at leisure dive resort:

4 tanks (free weights) + 2 breakfast + resort fees (including tables for gear set-up) = 1200 to 1500 divided by 2 = 600-750 each

 

i'm not really enthusiastic with boat dives this time of the year, but DSD & boat rental is more or less the same.

 

 

at ABC:

2 tanks (400) + meals/drinks (500) + cabana (est 100) = 1000 each, ok na din for divers. what we don't know is if they are going to require us to get their in-house dive guides and other fees such as weights.

 

 

notes: i have 2 extra gear (BCD large & small) and 2 scubapro reg. I also have masks and fins but i dont know if its gonna fit everyone. and i don't have suits except mine. also, i'm not enthusiastic staying at the resort to eat lunch as tagaytay is only 1 1/2hrs away at food is way better. the leisure dive resort is simple yet homey and the owner doesn't count to the last cent (if you know what i mean). anyway, if we want to stay late for a get-together celeb, i don't see any problem staying with you.

also, we have a dive sked this sat (sep5) in anilao. 7 confirmed divers. 2 dive spots (bahura and beatriz). P1,000 per diver. all-in - tanks, dive guide, dive pass/resort fee and boat rental (no meals). PM me if interested. meet up in tagaytay 430-5am.

I logged-in just now. The clean-up last Sat (or the lack of it) turned up to be retreat. no electricty, no dive and nobody can't leave due to closure or major access roads.
