Mang.J
Based on my experience, bottom line is: Diesel for efficiency/practicality, gasoline for fun. Diesels are perfect for city/daily life since they're generally easier to drive, are more efficient, and they can haul loads. Bang for the buck, ika nga.Ā There's diesel cars that can let you have fun (i.e. Accent diesel, Focus TDCi, BMW 1-series/3-series -d series or Audi diesels), but an equal, proper, gasoline-powered car is still hard to beat when it comes to fun, especially for sports cars. shadow555
Technology today for Diesel has improved so much... Diesel.Ā Problem is that government is pushing for Euro 4 upgrade for new cars and fuel. Not sure if the makers can achieve this easily. They should, and when that happens, then cleaner Diesel again!Ā Yung fortuner ko, nung bago ko bili, pag sakay, madaming nag tanong, gas ba to? Because most diesel engines now run quite smooth and quiet parang Gas engine. For the record, until now naman. Dati if there is a pedestrian, sa tunog palang nang diesel engine alam na na may kotse sa likod niya, now you have to honk just to let them know you are behind them. Quote Link to comment

carlo_41
Diesel - mura fuel pero mahal mga sasakyan (montero, crv, fortuner...)Gasoline - mahal fuel pero abot kaya ang mga sasakyan (vios, city....)Ā both i guess is ok depending on budget/lifestyle siguro. Quote Link to comment
