jopoc
.. i did say they suck right? maybe to a certain extent, they suck.... the magic easily beat them on opening nite, right? Edited November 4, 2009 by jopoc Quote Link to comment
denimhead
yup .. precisely my point .. when they face contenders they fold .. against the lesser teams they shine ... team's makeup is not tough enough .. and them getting into the p'offs just doesnt help them in the long term as they get mid round draft picks which almost always turns into projects Quote Link to comment

darksoulriver
well this Team really not a push-over. they made it to the playoffs last season so a possible playoff return is not bad. Coaching staff should put more emphasis on their defense, their offense was never been a problem. i can see them facing the Celtics on the playoffs! Guest megalodon
Greatest sports dynasties http://msn.foxsports.com/nascar/pgStory?co...;photo=10403674The Sixers of Chamberlain and Dr.J were two of the best Sixers teams in history having won championships in 1967 and 1983. The Sixers of The Stilt and Dr. J had one of the most incendiary rivalries with the number 2 team in that list. Edited December 1, 2009 by megalodon Quote Link to comment

darksoulriver
^yep in a limborock lol... if they really keen on pursuing AI to come out of retirement and play for the Sixers not bad as this Management knows AI tantrums much better. ang problema lng d2 ay maging OK ba yung pagpasok nya at sino magiging Alpha Dog sa Sixers Rosters? Guest megalodon
In the event the Sixers get Iverson, the question is: what will Iverson's role be when Williams comes back? 6th man? benchwarmer? I mean knowing Iverson, he'll do to Philly what he did to the Grizzlies if he becomes a reserve when Williams comes back so it's better for Philly not to sign him. Quote Link to comment
revi
^ Hindi kaya, kukunin siya ng Philly and then retire him.. That would be good for AI's overinflated ego.. Atleast, he retired in a team that he started and became big with.. Quote Link to comment

I don't think EJ will make Williams or Igoudala slide down to 6th man just to accomodate Iverson. AI still has what it takes to be a good player but his better days are behind him so unless Iverson learns to lower his pride, it won't be a wise decision for the Sixers to sign him. denimhead
i like AI .. loved him when he was playing here ... so im kinda torn with this return to Philly business .. the Sixers suck .. yes .. but they suck with a goal in mind ( to give the young players experience ) .. they cant finish close games, but thats youth for you. Getting AI now would only guarantee one thing.. lots more seats will get sold ... but that novelty wares off quickly tho .. when AI was shipped to denver attendance was already going down .. getting AI now will only stunt jrue's growth and team chemistry .. AI in his whole career has always been a ME first player .. and thats the last thing the sixers need. Quote Link to comment

AI's definitely not going to agree to just come off the bench for this team. Quote Link to comment
