Brady2Moss
I'm so happy for Elena Dementieva. After failing to advance to the finals of both Roland Garros and Wimbeldon (in heartbreaking victories nonetheless) she comes out and proves her mettle by winning gold in the Women's Singles Event at Beijing. I have always admired this girl's smile and her shrieking prowess. hehe. To tell you the truth, she is stunning in person...and them legs??? WOw :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment

WOw :thumbsupsmiley: tama ka bro. wow legs nga ito. hehe. and with her vocal abilities I wonder how loud she gets in the bedroom hahaha. But kidding aside I'm really happy for her she finally pulled up a "major" (since the Beijing Olympics has been dubbed by tennis fans as the "5th" major this year) victory at Beijing especially against a tough "never say die" kind of opponent like Dinara Safina. Mike_Lowrey21
Surely, it will be a blockbuster match if ever, kaya lang JamesB spoiled the party or it was RogerF who made a big letdown here in the Olympics. RaffyN is way too much for FernandoG of Chile, he's so strong and focus to capture the Gold here in the Olympics... The upcoming Number 1 Tennis Player of the World really showed his class and mettle... Congrats honga napanood ko laban ni idol Rafa kahit pinahirapan siya ni Fernando sa second set talagang malakas ang Espanyol na ito hehehe. vamos vamos Rafa, hehehe Tennis player of 2008 talaga si Rafa. French Open champion, Wimbledon winner, Beijing Gold medalist pa. Baka maka US Open pa. US Open na kasunod. Sana Roger-Rafa ulet ito. hehehe hindi ako nagsasawa eh hehehe Quote Link to comment
Brady2Moss
Oki dok, tapos na ang Olympics...Next, ang last Grand Slam of the Season, the US open in flushing meadows NY... We have a new number 1 player for Mens and Women's tennis...Rafael Nadal and Ana Ivanovic (yup she's back at the top...I don't know how ) A thumb injury will definitely limit her chances on winning her first US open. Nadal on the otherhand is a different story. He certainly is favored to win his first US open, and barring any injuries, he should be able to win it. I just hope the injured stars like Maria, and Ana recovers in time to play in the US...These two athlete/models dress up pretty in any event they join, and NY is a place for them to flaunt their fashion. I'm looking forward to seeing them play...Hopefully all the way to the finals. Quote Link to comment

Yes, that is quite weird. Jalena Jankovic was number one coming into Beijing and Ana didn't even play I wonder how she got the number one spot back. Quote Link to comment
RuinasLasCorazon
Vamos RaFA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think he'll win again in this slam.. his time is now Quote Link to comment

Nyways simula na ng US open, at muntik ng ma-upset si Ana...Buti naka recover...Si Maria hindi kasali dito!!! Sayang looking forward pa nman ako sa suot nya. Quote Link to comment
bikerider
what's up with ivanovic? another early exit at the us open. since her win at roland garros, it's all been downhill. hopefully she'll recover from whatever funk she's in and come back stronger. right now, she's not playing like she's the no. 1 player at all. juancarlos_enriquez
Hope Federer makes a successful defense. I think Nadal will win it though. Quote Link to comment

Pre, nung wimbeldon she lost to Jankovic too in much the same fashion (winning the first set then losing the next two). Matagal ng crush ni azayco dito sa forum yan. Quote Link to comment

This was the same dude Rafa said was going to be the next big thing is tennis (I totally forgot where I read that)... Also one thing to take note of is Kei trains at the very famous Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy  , so we can expect much more from this dude in the near future. Quote Link to comment
