Tattoos And Body Piercings

here's my tattoo, not a very good picture because I wasn't actually trying to take a picture of it... :D

hey pare i agree nice tat. Where did the design origionate?

 

And about tatoo.. i think its ok culturally and to commerate the dead, however for anyother reason i think.. everybody should consider the long term. And about piercings.. i suppose its about different places than the ear.. i wanted to pierce my breast nipple since two years ago.. but my bf wont let me.. sabi ni kim "ul look like a wild women, and ur not, ur my women." hahahaha

haha...yeah, my tattoo is Filipino tribal, maybe you guys know about it? haha...kinda rare I guess. anyway, I had my family history, everything, researched by an anthropologist in los angeles. He gave me the patterns on paper and I had it done by a tribal artist that specializes in this. So people's don't copy my tattoo otherwise you'll have my history on your body... :D

haven't had any ink or design work by them but I've seen some of their work and they are really something.

 

I'm looking at getting a Haribon design but I'm still not sure as to what direction I want to take it in (look, layout, bodypart, etc.) I'm very OC about things like that lol

 

It's great that a group still specializes in traditional Filipino designs and is keeping it alive.

 

good job on getting a pinoy tat, instead of the usual koi, tribal designs that seem to be everywhere lately.

You live in the OC bro? I surf there a lot when I'm in LA...

 

yeah, we're a lucky generation actually. They just started bringing the filipino tattoo tradition to light in 98'

 

yeah, i'm just getting one last tattoo and that's it. I'm getting on the right side of my ribcage, ouch!
