Ginebra had the game under control with a 106-101 lead but they played lazily after that. That alleged goaltending by Brownlee was borderline in my opinion. I think the first game was a case of overconfidence.

greg was a non-factor...i was just wondering if caperal could've contributed some quality minutes (just like in game 3) specially when travis was wrecking havoc in the 4th quarter. yes...after that 106-101 lead ginebra was lackadaisical. also i wonder how many TOs ginebra committed not to mention the missed FTs.

I think they should have pounded the ball more in the inside to Greg. I also noticed Ginebra was hesitant to take threes. They relaxed after taking a 106-101 lead as the Cheapshots went on an 11-2 tear to end the game.

I was also thinking why the hell the 'Guiao-sought Team Pilipinas and perceived Iran nemesis of a tall player' Greg Slaughter was nowhere in the court for most of the minutes...

 

Nevertheless, Magnolia just played their heart out and Travis was more like a NSD pedigree than most of the BGK players. And magaling din naman ang coaching staff nila... Congrats!

injured again? yes we win some we lose some. last conference nobody expected ginebra to be champ what with jbl being the shortest import. i'm looking forward to a complete ginebra team next season. hopefully we'll see more minutes from dela cruz, sargent and the bench players. masyado nang bugbog ang starting 5 lalo ni si iskati.

Magnolia Hotshots will demolish BGK.....ok na sa SMB management na after SMB at BGK ang nagchamp for the past years, nasa plan nila ay ipapanalo naman this time ay ang Magnolia.

Kudos to Magnolia, they deserve it more because of Travis throwing 50pts with an injured foot. That's iron heart right there..

We are 1 3 point miss shot away from a game 5. Kung pumasok yung tira ni LA na open or yung kay JBL baka nanalo tayo kaso hindi pumasok kahit open yung tira, hindi talaga para satin.

 

Game 1 was a massacre, nagulat tayo sa pgiging bully nila.

Game 2 was 50-50, again kung pumasok yung mga tres din natin nung game 2 on the final seconds baka hindi 2-0

 

Good job to Magnolia coaching staff for COMPLETELY ERASING Barney in the series.

 

Ewan ko lang baka may psychological issue din si Greg takot ma injured kasi baka madiskaril Gilas stint niya. Who knows?

 

This is JBL's conference, sya ang hari ng govs cup kaya i am heartborken for him pero ganun talaga, bawi na lang next season.

 

I hope Magnolia manalo sa Finals para SMC team pa rin, lalong iyak niyan si Manay MVP kasi 3 conference puro SMC.

Oo nga chief eh sayang si Caperal magaling naman yung tao,may depensa at may shooting. Si Aguilar matapang sa laban, banggaan yan may shooting din kaso wala bangko din. Very well daid regarding Chan chief hindi na consistent eh

 

Ang yabang nung Reavis nag post daw ng They thought they had it. Mayabang yan pati yung brondial mga walang utang na loob sa Ginebra hahaha.

sayang talaga yung last 1 minute... nag break down... magnolia came in more prepared and I think hindi nakapagadjust ang gins ng maige,,,, their advantage was japeth and greg and they were not able to come up with maximising the 2.. naging alternate... di ko rin nakita si art and prince, who are probably better defenders than greg...

 

kailngan talaga ng isa pang PG... sol obviously is not a natural PG...

 

anyway, bawl next season... I just have this feeling na grand slam next year...

sa akin lang parang sayang yung 1st round draft pick in exchange for jeff chan...although natulungan naman tayo ni jeff na makapag-champion last conference. ang iniisip ko lang is yung future sana. pero diskarte na ni coach tim yan. we have a good lineup naman kaso talagang kailangan na din magpabata. jdv is not getting any younger. the spark will probably retire. i think scottie is the youngest in the lineup.

Greg can power his way inside but just not as good as Fajardo.
