malaki Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 i actually thought the coach was wrong to call timeout in that situation. kitang kita frustration ni JJ at Mark. look at phil jackson with mike before.. with 20 secs to go, tie game, and the momentum, you really have to just let your players play. calling a timeout only gives the defense time to set up and key on guys as well as starting your own offense from a standstill instead of in motion. but i guess they won the game anyway.. sakit nga ni JJ yung overdribbling, but i kinda like when he's more aggressive on offense. i was just talking about that over dinner the other night, how caguioa's injury kinda opened the door to other guys being more aggressive, and when he came back, the flow kept going. doesn't even really seem like they miss tubid that much. reavis has been making a big difference too, with rebounding and defense. that's what jumpstarts the fastbreak. looking forward to the finals.. Bro undertsand na injured sya...pero given the fact na alam nya na injured sya at medyo offnight bakit nya pinilit yung tira. Pwede naman nya ibigay kay Mark. Di rin natin alam kung ano instruction ng coach. Pero for sure in that situation di ganon yung designed na play. As a point guard di dapat ganon dapat sinet up ni JJ yung team mate nya. Understand na gusto nya rin manalo pero bad desisyon yung sinolo nya yun bola considering injured sya at offnite pa nya. Marami rin naitulong si JJ sa team pero dapat lang pag crucial play dapat as a point guard kailangan be smart in decision making which is yun minsan ang sakit ni JJ, iseset nya yung last shot sa kanya.
