RED2018
ang tanong ngayon kung gagamitin ni kalbo si taha na rookie. ang dami nang nawalang big men ang ginebra dahil di ginagamit...nung nakalipat at nabigyan ng pagkakataon na magpakitang gilas, umasenso. typical examples?...yancy, reavis, kramer, villanueva. i still believe it starts with the coach. + 1 here: What can a rookie Taha do better than Reavis, et' al? (all of whom were not given much oppurtunity to shine in their gin kings stint) Quote Link to comment

(all of whom were not given much oppurtunity to shine in their gin kings stint) The difference? Erik Menk is still at his prime during all those years...He got all the minutes then. Right now BGK has no legitimate inside threat.. Hopefully, Taha and others in the line-up could step-up now... Quote Link to comment

junix
Cortez: 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals. Best player of the game. Chief iba talaga pag nabibigyan ng playing time at may kumpiyansa ang coach. Unfortunately, ang coach natin ay di gaya ni pumaren. other ginebra players who played in the first game also had good games...wilson, canaleta, tubid and villanueva. Quote Link to comment

Alam mo, minsan, may pumapasok sa isip ko baka naman may nakikialam sa coaching decisions ni Siot.........kilala naman natin ang evil intentions in the likes of Non and Eala. Ano kaya? Ano kaya? i hope it's not a season ending injury like what happened to ababou. maganda pa naman ang nilalaro niya sa barako. kung ganyan nga ang intentions nina non at eala, wala talagang pupuntahan ang ginebra kundi sa kangkungan. fatchubs
1st half interview kay MC47 ...very frustrated ang mama. May bagong plays daw sila pero hindi ma-execute ng tama kasi nagmamadali daw ang mga players.  And so far TAHA have not been given the chance to play. Nag trade pa kung di naman gagamitin Quote Link to comment
photographer
HIRAP NG HIRAP. Dikit pa 64-63 Lamang pa ang Globalport! Nak ng pating. 8 minutes to go. Kulelat na nga kalaban! Nagka amnesia na naman si Siot, hindi ata alam na Ginebra na si Taha! Quote Link to comment

*kalel*
trade is one of the solutions especially if it is right... for me sayang si cortez, they could have gotten more for his talents Quote Link to comment
*kalel*
the mistakes were not siot alone.... unti unti pinabayaan ng management ang line up even before siot came in... also, eto yung mga 'sana' ko:Â 1. tubid should not had been traded2. menk should not had been let go3. enrico should have been preferred than mamaril4. jensen should have been traded to taha or taha was drafted instead of jensen by bgk5. tiu is needed as a sf by the team, caguiao, helterbrand, la are penetrators together with raymundo... they need a big and a real shooter6. they should have gotten more for cortez Quote Link to comment
junix
simple lang yan kaibigan...it would be the height of stupidity if a coach doesn't use who the team traded for. Quote Link to comment
dfgvan
medyo torn ako sa pagkakapanalo natin... on one hand na stop na ang losing streak on the other nabigyan ng new lease on life si siot...  shiiiiiiiittttt!!! Quote Link to comment
pajac24
the mistakes were not siot alone.... unti unti pinabayaan ng management ang line up even before siot came in... also, eto yung mga 'sana' ko: 1. tubid should not had been traded2. menk should not had been let go3. enrico should have been preferred than mamaril4. jensen should have been traded to taha or taha was drafted instead of jensen by bgk5. tiu is needed as a sf by the team, caguiao, helterbrand, la are penetrators together with raymundo... they need a big and a real shooter6. they should have gotten more for cortez 1. that was a good trade, tubid for dylan ababou we would have never known the future and besides during that time ang rotation ay helterbrand, john wilson, caguioa, labagala, at cortez crowded ang guard rotation, wala tayong wing nun2. menk fyi is still with ginebra, he was deactivated because teams are limited only to 5 fil-am players, they are caguioa, helterbrand, jensen, ellis and hatfield, menk can be reactivated anytime, he would be reporting to san miguel in the abl, at the the end of philippine cup3. Mamaril is the only legitimate center of ginebra back then, siot was confident that kerby can fill up the void since both enrico and kerby has the same play4. have you seen taha played in the NCAA? he was playing for mapua cardinals back then, he was being eaten alive in the shaded lane by the likes of sudan daniels, calvin abueva, jason ballesteros and ian sangalang to name a few, during draft jensen was the better choice, coach siot envisioned the run and gun style of ginebra, youth and energy would have made a difference, we would have not known that taha would be that good when he jumped to the pba, like I said we would have never known the future5. tiu is too small for sf position, coach siot felt that he has lot of guards already back then, labagala, caguioa, helterbrand, cortez, and we still have john wilson during the draft, like I said coach siot envisioned the run and gun style of ginebra6. That trade was a good one, both teams addressed their needs, we needed a rebounder and a defense in the shaded lane while they needed a guard, if you are implying that we should have gotten sena or rob reyes also, we have kerby for sena's moves and rob reyes is injury prone, kaya nga siya binitawan ng petron Edited November 10, 2012 by pajac24 Quote Link to comment

Richmond
I don't know the point of the coaching staff of trading a player and then not utilizing him. It is plain stupidity Quote Link to comment
