i really do wonder why he took that 3 point shot.. maybe because he got lucky earlier? poor decision.. on the way out na malamang tong si Ambres..

Some factors resulting in the loss: The Pinoy culture na kapag kung sino ang malakas mangpikon, mas lalong pikon: TUBID (stupid elbowing flagrant 2 foul); During the stretch na naghahabol, biglang na possessed na naman si Mark ng pagiging crocodile; Ambres actually wala talagang pakinabang-tsambahan lang ang laro; Menk may injury na naman; Mamaril, wala na talaga sa condition sa tagal ng naka bench (dont know why) and the 1st reason kung bakit natalo? Nasa atin pa rin si Coach Jong (sa nakita ko, he designed a stupid play.Throw in pa lang wala silang solid plan. Hindi naman talagang matindi defense ng Rain during that dying seconds.

while watching the game, i switched to Rated K. they featured the old Ginebra players (Jaworski, Gonzalgo, Ducut, Isaac, Palad, Distrito and Cabatu). they also showed old clips of Ginebra games.. watching those clips gave me goosebumps. that was the real Ginebra that i learned to cheer about!

 

after the Ginebra segment on Rated K i switched back to the game.....i cant help but shake my head

Sa mga last second shots, the best I can ever think of, although retirado na siya, si Coach Baby Dalupan of Crispa. So many games was won because of his strategic genius from biglaan change of players to the drawing of plays sa blackboard (yes, blackboard pa nun).. Today, I can think of the coach of Derby Ace (Purefoods). Wala nang iba.

Agree, ang tagal pa noong 12 seconds, kung kay Jawo 'yun take it hard/drive hard panigurado ang instruction n'ya, saka ang tumira pa when the game is on the line ay si Ambres come on! Isa pang mali ang naging diskarte si Tubid, nakatulong sana s'ya imbes na nasa locker room, kung andoon s'ya sa final seconds baka s'ya ang ma-assign to drive hard to the basket. Also, bakit nawalan na yata ng playing time si Intal?
