pogi_cute Posted August 2, 2008 Share Posted August 2, 2008 i dont agree that uichico has a big advantage vs perasol. uichico has the luxury of coaching good teams with good players. thats the only reason why he has a winning record. but if you are going to analyze his career, he is a damn bad coach. he doesnt know how to use/utilize players and nerbyoso. for me, its a good thing that tubid was injured, or else, uichico is going to have a hard time in rotating the guards. its going to be close series. advantage is to gins because of its players. but take note, coaches will play a crucial role in the series which air21 has the advantage. pogi_cute Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 the only factor that the gins have won 8 straight games is the run and gun and bara bara play of artadi, mark, junthy and jj. i dont think they have run a lot of plays during those games. i hope that they can sustain this. for me, credit should be given to the players not uichico. uichico = siot. i pity smb corp, out of the 3 teams they have, only gregorio i guess deserves to be retained. it will be a good series. i dont think there will be a sweep. Coaches looses them.. pity you did not see Ginebra's Rebounds (Alexander, Reavis), 3 point shooting(JayJay, Sunday and even Artadi) and Defense (Valenzuela, Pacana) that got them where they are now. also Jong's decision making Caguioa a 6th man. nobody anticipated Ginebra will sweep Red Bull.. nothing is imposible NEVER SAY DIE! LOL! as i have said in my previous post, gins have the advantage but i dont think it will be a sweep. both teams have intensity and run and gun game. it will boil down to the coaches. also, i dont agree that players win games alone, both players and coaches win and lose games. So kung yun ang factor dapat di sila 0-5. Pwede mong sabihin na konti ang play pero di mo ba naisip na yung mga islotion nila eh may connection pa rin sa positioning and spacing ng tao. SO may contribution pa rin coaching staff dyan kasi sila ng may design ng positioning ng mga tao. Idagdag mo na rin dyan yung mga backdoor screen and pick and roll play kasali rin yon kasi yang ang mga ginagawa nila sa practice. Yoko rin kay JONg pero nagustuhan ko yung 6th man strategy nya MArk very effective yun kasi di sila ngasasapawan ni JJ sa play though minsan sa nangyayari pa rin. Tama si Perasol, patas sila man for man pero hindi fan for fan. Dapat manalo si Caguioa ng BPC award para automatic contender siya sa MVP.
